Landscape Management of River Basin Skalice

The aim of the bachelor thesis is to analyze and evaluate the state of the landscape in the model part of the Skalice river basin and to determine the possible negative effects of intensive agriculture on the selected village of Smetana Lhota. Inappropriate melioration and high losses soil and nutrients from the fields were found in the model area. The research, which took place in the village of Smetanova Lhota, confirmed that intensive agriculture actually affects the inhabitants of the village. The findings are used to recommend how to approach to the revitalization of the landscape in the model territory based on the Complex landscaping. Approaches to revitalization the landscape can be used in similar forms on whole basin of the Skalice river. The landscape revitalization should reduce the eutrophication of the Orlík dam and restore its original character.
Changes of functional use shore of Orlická barrier focusing on recreational function

CHANGES OF FUNCTIONAL USE SHORE OF ORLICKÁ BARRIER FOCUSING ON RECREATIONAL FUNCTION Abstract The aim of this study is to assess changes in functional use of the shore Orlická barrier in more than fifty-year history this technical bouilding. Orlická barrier holds many functions, for example in energy and control of flows to the river system. A secondary effect is the concentration of tourism and recreation on the banks. In this work, the focus is on analysis recreational function. Other analyse functions are economic function, transport, residential and servises. Of the result of dam construction in the 60s and political changes, there were changes in the functional recovery destination. Currently Orlicko faces many problems that have a negative effect on the influx of visitors and tourists. Apart from analyzing the functional use of the area is part of this paper analysis of structured interviews with mayors, representatives of recreational centers and other actors in the area. The dam reservoir Orlik and its effect on the environment

Water tanks are now an integral part of our civilization, which is dependent on water in general, whether it be the production of electricity from water, or use in food processing etc. work discusses the history of water reservoirs and dams, their effects, positive and negative, on the surrounding landscape and environment. The very core of the work is focused on the Orlik reservoir, its history and construction and technical parameters. Part of the work is about its impact on the landscape and environmental impact. The thesis also deals with the use of the reservoir Orlik and finally describes the present dam with a view to the future.
Quantitative and qualitative spacious distribution of bed capacities and accompanying services in the defined tourist area of dam reservoir Orlík and its foul territory

In this bachelor's thesis the author is concentrating on tourist area of dam reservoir Orlík and its foul territory. The aim of the work is to quantitatively and qualitatively analyze spatial distribution of bed capacity and related complementarities of supporting services in that stake-out area. In order to reach the most comprehensive analysis of actual situation is the research concentrated on commercial accommodation facilities and objects of individual recreation which are creating inherent part of tourist business. The partial aim was to create a transparent database of subject providing accommodation acting in the area which will consequently serve to information centres´ workers in area of dam reservoir Orlík and tourists themselves as well.
