The aim of this bachelor thesis was to analyze the financial situation of the company Olma, a.s. in the period of years 2002- 2007 on the base of annual financial reports and to predict development of this company at the time of financial crisis. In theoretical part there is described methodological apparatus, in following practical part is this apparatus used for analysing of the company. The bachelor thesis consists of horizontal and vertical analysis of the balance sheet and income statement, balancing rules, ratio indexes and Du Pont's fragmentation, analysis of net work capital and assesment of economic value added. In some chapters was used comparision with the most important competitor Madeta, a.s.
