Origin and development of the concept of national language in France

The goal of this diploma thesis is to describe the origin and development of the concept of national language in France and to analyze the meaning of this concept in the French environment. Task of the first part is to define the key concepts like "langue nationale", "langue officielle" and to explain their conception in the French environment. The next part pays attention to the relation between national language and dialects and describe the approach to dialects during the French revolution. The aim of the third chapter is to introduce the issue of "grammatisation" and to outline the proces of grammatization of the French language. Follows the chapter analyzing the chronological development of the French as the national language of France, the most important periods of the 18th century and the French revolution are described in particular chapters. The final chapter outlines the importance and role of the language policy and mentions some most significant institutional interventions into the development of the French.
Utilization of stratification layers national language in advertising

The thesis deals to using stratification layers of a national language in advertisement. The theoretical part introduces a history and development of advertising, points out legislative adjustments and describes a marketing comunication. The part devoted on vocabulary focuses on changes and nowadays progress. In next part there are introduced other vocabulary layers and there are showed mistakes on specific advirtisment too. The empirical part introduces a project for elementary school students and a research complied from questionare. Results are subjected to analisys a compared with defined hypothesis in advance. All thesis focuses on perception of individual parts of and national language by adolescents and adult recipients too.

An Analysis of regional dialects spoken in Nové Syrovice, Láz

The topic of this work is the analysis of dialect in locations of Nové Syrovice and Láz in the Třebíč region. The author analyses the spoken expressions of three generations (old, middle age and the youngest). The author performs phonetics, morphology and lexical analysis of dialect phenomena and evaluates the current situation of the dialect in this region. The aim of this work is to assess the degree of preservation of dialect features, retreat of previously specific elements or innovation caused by the influence of the media.
