Using the Erosion Potential Method in the Czech Republic
Hloušek, Jakub ; Larišová, Lucie (referee) ; Dumbrovský, Miroslav (advisor)
The aim of this thesis was the evaluation of the loss of soil for the area of interest, located in the north-western part of the Němčického basin, in the district of Blansko. The calculation was made using two methods, namely erosion potential method (EPM), commonly used in Serbia and the Wischmeier-Smith universal soil loss equation (USLE), used in Czech Republic. Finally, both of these methods were compared with each other. Both methods use a different method of calculation. USLE method utilizes the universal equation for calculating the long-term average soil loss per year (G), the EPM method utilizes equation for specific average annual soil loss (Wsp, Wy). The calculation was performed with both methods in program ArcGIS while the USLE method was also supplemented with calculation of the factor (LS) with USLE2D program. When comparing the soil loss each of evaluated areas, the EPM achieved higher values of soil loss in the most of them. In contrast to the USLE method, the EPM the total loss of the soil from the evaluated areas also accounted the soil loss from forest areas. In terms of accuracy of the achieved real world results, it was determined that the conditions in the Czech Republic are more suitable for the USLE method and not only due to more accurate data input, but also because with EPM there is no factor that would better reflect the topographic factor and conditions of surface runoff in the territory.

The patronage of the Schwarzenberg family in the 18th century on the example of the parish of Němčice
HOSPASKOVÁ, Eliška
This diploma thesis deals with patronage of the Schwarzenberg family in the 18th century over the parish of Němčice, which fell into the Netolice Manor, and tries to describe the patronage administration of the Schwarzenbergs in general. For basic explanation of its topic the thesis is prefaced by chapters about the patronage in general and the history of Němčice and of the local parish. Basic spheres of the patronage of the Schwarzenberg family over parishes in their manors (on the example of the parish of Němčice) are presented after that. This thesis studies the rights of patronage primarily with respect to the administration. It also deals with the symbolic manifest of the patron's authority and focuses on the analysis and interpretation of the most important types of documents of the patronage administration and communication of the patronage offices. Next chapters deal with founding of the parish of Němčice as an example of parish foundation and with its incomes. They also analyze granting of presentations, installations of the parish priests, involvement of the patronage officers in canonical visitations and with the pendency of the estates of the deceased parish priests. The addendum supplements the text of this thesis by an edition of the founding charter of the parish of Němčice, by a table of local parish priests and by reproductions of some sources.
Memorial books of the parish of Němčice 1759-1939
HOSPASKOVÁ, Eliška
The aim of the bachelor thesis "Memorial books of the parish of Němčice 1759-1939" is to present the topic of parish memorial books. The thesis watches an example of two sources of this kind that originated from the work of the Parish office of Němčice (near Netolice) in connection with history of the village and of the local clerical administration. That?s why the first chapter introduces the history of Němčice since the first written mention until present and the second chapter describes the development of the local parish and of the parish church of Saint Nicholas in Němčice, too. The centre of the work is the third chapter which presents both memorial books of the parish of Němčice. The first book contains records from years 1759-1783 (or 1796) and the second one was written in a period since 1836 probably until 1939 (with an inscription from 1948). The chapter deals with an external and internal description of both memorial books, the context of their foundation, characteristics of individual chroniclers and an analysis of their records. The conclusion of the thesis summarizes the development and significance of parish memorial books and suggests their possible use for a historical research. The work also contains several supplements, especially an edition of the older memorial book of Němčice, samples of writings of chroniclers as well as tables, maps and photographs.
