Global Developing Education for Primary School Students.

This thesis deals with global development education and how it is implemented in the education of students in the first grade of primary school. The aim of the theoretical part is to define global issues and globalization, as well as related basic concepts, principles, and goals of global development education. This part contains a description of the current status of global education and focuses on the application of global education to education generally. It introduces international and Czech organizations working in this field and describes related documents. The next part is devoted to individual cross- cutting themes, key competences and their characterisation. It focuses on their close links to global education. Emphasis is placed on the areas that are developed in students and on the actual benefits of integrating global education into education. The aim of the practical part is to design methodological worksheets that will help integrate global development education topics into the teaching of students in the first grade of primary school.
