Supplier selection and evaluation process and its impact on inventory control

The aim of the work is to optimise supplier selection and evaluation based on internal information obtained from Gienger spol. s r.o. with its registered office in South Moravian Napajedla. It is a wholesale unit dealing with the provision of materials and goods in the building services engineering field. The theoretical part focuses on explaining the concepts and informing regarding the methods used. These are mainly the topics of supplier selection and evaluation, stockpile and its accounting and management, and multiple-criteria decision-making used to optimise supplier selection. The practical part examines the supplier selection and evaluation methods used at Gienger, seeking to optimise them based on the proposed modifications. It also addresses the impact of supplier selection on stock management in the company. The results are evaluated based on the information obtained and proposed adjustments.

TITLE: Use of Software Tools for Teamwork at School AUTHOR: Jiří Slabý DEPARTMENT: Department of Information Technology and Education SUPERVISOR: PhDr. Petra Vaňková, Ph.D. ABSTRACT: The work is focused on software tools for teamwork including comparison and deployment in a pilot solution in a particular high school. By conducting searches in literature and Internet resources related to the given topic, basic concepts related to teamwork are described and activities that take place within the scope of teamwork are outlined. Software tools for teamwork are analyzed, suitable selection criteria and their weights are set, and a comparison of selected software tools is performed using multiple-criteria analysis. The aim is to choose a suitable tool for teamwork and to propose its use in a particular school. Based on the results of the comparison, the Microsoft Teams team collaboration tool is selected and deployed because it matches the needs of a particular school in the best way. The benefit of this work is an overview and comparison of tools that enable teamwork and communication; the proposed scenarios and practical use of software team tools at school are beneficial, too. Analysis of table games sales

This thesis deals with board games and their makers in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part brings a definition of game and defines its nature and basic signs. This part also presents brief history of games, their classifiction and basic rules. The next chapters deal with financial analysis and inter-company comparison made by multiple-criteria analysis of variants. In the empirical part the author characterises five companies specialised in producing and trading board games. There are tables of indicators of liquidity, profitability, activity and indebtedness based on annual reports of the companies. The comparison covers indicators from years 2013-2015. Finally, the thesis presents the most prospering company, based on the highest sales rate, evaluated by means of the multiple-criteria analysis of variants and introduces five best-selling games of the winning company.
