Health and social worker as a member of multi-disciplinary team in psychiatric hospital

The aim of the bachelor thesis entitled Medical Social Worker as a member of a multidisciplinary team in a psychiatric hospital is to find out what are the specifics of social work of a medical social worker in a psychiatric hospital with a focus on medical social workers as a member of a multidisciplinary team and to use the qualitative research to mediate the view of experienced medical social workers working in a psychiatric hospital. The thesis is divided into two parts - theoretical and empirical. The theoretical part contains five chapters dealing with the legislation concerning medical social worker, multidisciplinary team and its composition, methods of social work in health care, specifics of social work in health care and the role of medical social worker in psychiatric hospital. The empirical part then includes the sixth chapter, which contains an analysis of interviews with four experienced medical social workers working in a psychiatric hospital.
