Evaluation of the operating state of asynchronous motors of the Dukovany nuclear power plant by the method of frequency analysis of stator current
Štěpanovský, Libor ; Kasárník, Milan (referee) ; Mastný, Petr (advisor)
The masters thesis is concerned with the setting of limits and criteria, the design of database environment and the evaluation of the current state of motors of the important machines related to own consumption of the Nuclear power plant Dukovany. The first part of the thesis is a short description of induction motors, the evaluation method and the inventory of the observed motors related to own consumption of Nuclear power plant Dukovany. The second part of the thesis concerns the design of limits and criteria for evaluating the current state of these important motors. Finally, the thesis shows a short description of the electro monitoring system together with the description of the database environment created. In the supplementary materials of the thesis, there is a design of a protocol template for evaluation of the current state of the motor and a technical report template for regular evaluation in monitored areas MCSA (Motor Current Signature Analysis) of the state of the induction motors.

Analysis Of Broken Rotor Bars Fault In Inverter Fed Induction Motor By Means Of Motor Current Signature Analysis And Stray Flux Of Motor
Chernyavska, Ielyzaveta
In this paper the analysis of effect of broken rotor bar fault in squirrel-cage induction motor fed by frequency converter is presented. The motor current signature analysis as well as stray flux of motor were used in order to verify the capability of these techniques to identify the presence of different types of investigated fault in case of different types of supply and load. There were measured 4-pole motors with different level of broken rotor bar fault under different loads. Obtained data is presented in the form of graphs and tables and the comparison of obtained results was carried out.
Detection of Eccentricity and Broken Rotor Bar Faults by Means of Monitoring of Current and Magnetic Flux Density Spectrums
Ishkova, I.
In this paper, faults detection and classification using motor current signature analysis (MCSA) and monitoring of magnetic flux density in air-gap of the machine is presented. A series of simulations using the models of three phase cage induction motor performed in different fault condition, such as static, dynamic and mixed eccentricity and broken rotor bars. Designed models were implemented with the help of finite element method to provide data that makes it possible to diagnose presence of any type of fault, as well as to analyze obtained and calculated results. Models were designed on the basis of characteristics and parameters of real motor. The results are illustrated in the form of graphs that makes visible illustration for effectiveness of the used diagnosis method.
