The analysis is based on the technical documentation of the new production hall, there is going to unify the production to reduce the operating costs of the company. The objective of this thesis is the proposal for universal cabling for network communication and security.

The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of a computer network for a manufacturing company. The first part is devoted to the analysis of the current state of the company, its facility, needs, current network and the investor's requirements for a new network. The second part summarizes the theoretical background needed to understand the issues of computer network design. The actual design itself is covered in the third part. It is based on an analysis of the current state and includes the selection of passive layer elements, design of cable routes, recommendations for active elements and economic evaluation.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to design active and pasive elements of network and economical assesment.

Network Protocol Analyzer

Object of this thesis is to find the way how to program network protocol analyzer on the highest level of ISO/OSI model. We need to use some of the methods for detection of application protocols. The software described in this thesis uses traditional application level traffic identification method and signature-mapping-based method. Basic platform is FreeBSD operating system. Programming language is C using libpcap library.
