Information System for Energetic Consultant Service

This bachelor thesis deals with the information system design for the BV Consulting company. The thesis presents the principles of the company functioning including all the internal regulations that are important for the system design. The thesis describes the requirements on the system, system design based on these requirements and its implementation. The main function of system is providing an interface for administration and registration of employees, their contracts and reports. The implementation is based on Microsoft Office Access and ASP.NET.

This work deals with the analysis of commercial applications available for support accounting agendas, their attributes, and projecting a data and process model for the most simple but sufficient application. In the proposed solution is preferred simplicity and maximum availability solutions for the ordinary national sole trader or for a company which needs effectively use housing fund and it is not its main activity. For this reason, the application is made for normal software for PC and specifically for MS Office which was tested in real environment.
Mathematical and Statistical Methods as Support of the Development of Software Applications

The bachelor thesis is focused on application creation using mathematical and statistical methods. This application is created in Microsoft Office Excel. The application programming language is Visual Basic for Applications. The values of economic indicators are calculated in the application and the results are subsequently subjected to mathematical and statistical methods. Based on these analyzes, the recommended measures for the company Chempex - HTE, a.s., which should help to eliminate the weaknesses of the company, are stated in the design part of the thesis.
Cross_section and reinforcement optimization of roof truss

The thesis is focused on optimization of cross-section shape of reinforced concrete truss. An optimization algorithm was created in Microsoft Office Excel which optimizes the shape and reinforcement of the reinforced concrete truss. The truss is as cheap as possible while complying with the ultimate limit state and serviceability limit state - deflection. The algorithm uses the Solver tool which is a supplement program Microsoft Office Excel. Two truss variants were created. One has a cross-sectional shape of a truss designed according to empirical relationships and the second comprises an optimized cross-sectional shape using the algorithm formed. The internal truss forces were detected using Scia Engineer. Both options were statically assessed. When comparing the variants, that a considerable part of the material cost can be saved when optimizing the cross-sectional shape.
