Wireless communication module in 868 MHz band with MESH network support
Uhlíř, Marcel ; Fedra, Zbyněk (referee) ; Povalač, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis deals with design of a wireless communication module that allows communication in the unlicensed band at the frequency of 868 MHz. The designed module can be easily implemented in various types of embedded devices using SMT technology. This communication module consists of a low-power radio frequency transmitted, balancing element, impedance matching, radio antenna and electromagnetic shielding. Communication between the embedded device and the wireless communication module is realized using the SPI interface and configurable GPIOs. Part of this work is the proposed firmware library, which operates the wireless communication module and allows communication in peer-to-peer mode and in MESH network mode. A procedure for its creation and management is created as part of the MESH network. The use of this work is directed to the field of control and sensor systems with application in automation.
Wireless Mesh Protocol for FreeRTOS
Horák, Martin ; Krkoš, Radko (referee) ; Červenka, Vladimír (advisor)
Bachelor thesis aims to introduce in thereretical part operating principe of mesh network, their practical use, brief introduction of mesh protokol and standard 802.15.4. Also present a real-time operating systems, that can be used for programming applications based on real-time operating systems architecture. In practical part is to create several progres and made measurements of energy consumption and the number of cycles. Based on the results is found most appropriate implementation into the FreeRTOS. The final chapter is devoted to the overview of the achieved results, which are summarized in the tables.
Mobile IP in MANETs
Raška, Martin ; Hošek, Jiří (referee) ; Skořepa, Michal (advisor)
This thesis discuss about the problem with mobility of stations in IP networks, concretely protocol Mobile IP and about the problems with this protocol in MANET networks, with the scope on Motorola MESH. First part is about design integration of protocol Mobile IP in this networks with usage Tropos 5210 MetroMesh routers and Cisco components (router, switch) to design and configure wireless MESH network, than connect this network with Cisco components and try to implement Mobile IP into this network. Second part is about design and configure wireless network from Cisco Wireless Access Points and about succesfully implementation of Mobile IP protocol into this network. In the last part is some tests of the function and quality of this topology.
Power Losses Calculation Depending on Distribution Network Configuration
Domes, František ; Souček, Jan (referee) ; Paar, Martin (advisor)
This master‘s thesis deals with the calculation of losses depending on the configuration of the distribution network. The first part focuses on the general theory regarding some used calculation methods of steady operation. The next part is theoreticly dedicated to the technical losses, possibilities of their influencing and their calculation. In the practical part is carried out the choice of calculation method of steady operation. This method is implicated into the proposed program in programming environment MATLAB.Furthermore, on the basis of a partial measurement in the distribution network and using the proposed program are determined the sizes of offtakes of mesh network. For the existing mesh network is designed its radial operation. In the last part are calculated the losses of this network for both of these mentioned operations.
Dynamic Mesh Network Implemented in Micropython on Top of ESP-NOW Protocol
Projekt je postaven pomocí dvou komunikačních protokolů, proprietárního ESP-NOW a běžné WiFi komunikace.
Wireless Sensor Network
Nosko, Matúš ; Materna, Zdeněk (referee) ; Zemčík, Pavel (advisor)
The work was focused on creating a secure sensor network based on mesh topology, built on devices from Espressif. It also concentrates on code security and connecting this network to the cloud. The mesh network created is dynamic, regenerative, and self-organizing. The entire network is built on Wi-Fi, making it easy to connect to the internet, as the only condition for its operation is to have Wi-Fi at the installation site, eliminating the need for any special device to connect the network to the internet - it's gatewayless. Even if one node fails, the network self-organizes according to the newly created conditions and continues to function. The most modern security methods are used to secure the devices, such as secure boot and flash encryption. The MQTT protocol is used to connect the mesh network to the server. The MQTT broker, database, and API interface on the server side are dockerized. Thanks to these docker containers, it is easy to extend server parts. Also, values from devices are stored in a database and displayed on a website. The entire network solution was implemented in the ESP-IDF environment and tested on ESP32-S3 devices.

Optimization Of Mesh Network Configuration For Reduction Of Short Circuit Currents
Krcal, Vit
This paper deals with LV mesh network reconfiguration in order to minimize short circuitcurrents. The reconfiguration rests in switching off selected network elements leading to increase ofshort circuit impedances in LV nodes. For optimal configuration, an algorithm of sequential disconnectingof elements is proposed, based on load flow and short circuit calculations. The reconfigurationprocedure is applied to a model of a mesh MV/LV network. Reduction of short circuit currentsin this network is presented, capturing impact of each step of the sequence. Based on the presentedresults, deploying other measures and further development of the proposed algorithm are discussed.
