Power line parameters
Kavan, Pavel ; Krajsa, Ondřej (referee) ; Mlýnek, Petr (advisor)
At the beginning is diploma thesis focused on a distribute power line parameters measurement and examination changes of this parameters depending on using of various power line cables. On the basis of measurements is made a transmission channel in Matlab & Simulink, where are executed simulations with power transmission line. The simulated power line is based on measured distribute parameters or physical proportions of cabels. By changing different parts of simulated communication channel is a symbol error rate expressed on the lenght of transmission line.
Condition monitoring of mechatronic systems
Horňan, Bohdan ; Buchta, Luděk (referee) ; Blaha, Petr (advisor)
This thesis is concerned with condition monitoring and quantitative analysis of synchronous motors. Constantly rising requirements on the reliability of motors develop new methods of predictive diagnostics, which can identify failure conditions in the initial stage. Created mechatronic systems with the implemented failure from pre-prepared PMSM model are tested by unconventional condition monitoring methods. Software solutions of diagnostics and model designs of the mechatronic systems are implemented in MATLAB & Simulink. Part of this work is also a short introduction to the issue with necessary theoretical fundamentals and research of some selected methods of predictive diagnostics.
Adaptive controller with continuous system identification
Horňan, Bohdan ; Švarc, Ivan (referee) ; Lang, Stanislav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis is focused on the issue of adaptive controllers. It is divided into two parts: theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with identification methods of dynamic systems and methods of optimizing parameters of controllers. In the practical part is designed an adaptive self-tuning controller that is able to adapt to changes of parameters of the plant. The recursive least square method is used to determine a transfer function of the plant. Software solution of the adaptive controller is implemented in Matlab & Simulink.
Analysis of model operation of multi-degree-of-freedom energy harvester
Witassek, Tomáš ; Rubeš, Ondřej (referee) ; Hadaš, Zdeněk (advisor)
The first part of this bachelor’s thesis is an overview of vibration energy harversters with multiple degrees of freedom. Several options of broadening the usefull frequency bandwidth thanks to multiple degrees of freedom are described in the overview. The following part is a model in Matlab & Simulink analyzing behaviour of a vibration-powered generator with a harmonic excitation and another one with a real excitation. The main focus is on the output electrical power and energy in relation to geometrical parameters and electromagnetic damping.
