The aim of my bachelor´s thesis is to find an answer to my research questions which is following: - How players of Magic: The Gathering finance this game? - Are there any other leisure time activities, in which are players willing to invest greater amount of money than in MtG? - What motivates players to spend their money on the game Magic the Gathering? Theoretical part includes an explanation and clarification of terms, which are in relation to the main research question and main domain od research. Main terms are: collecting and Magic: The Gathering. Qualitative analysis and coding method were used for data analysis. Mindmap was also used in order to ease the orientation. The final part of the thesis is dedicated to the evaluation of data analysis, answer on the research question and to the creation of questions, that can serve as a base for quantitative research questionnaire
