Proposal of electrical equipment for soaking and drying cores for making castings
Čermák, Jiří ; Hájek, Vítězslav (referee) ; Veselka, František (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with proposal of electrical equipment for soaking and drying cores for making castings at foundry in a Great Britain. It brings look at system of technical norms ČSN and it compares it with british system of technical norms British standards. The second part of this thesis contains detailed proposal of this equipment, including specification of control system, specification of power supply cables and control cables and particular technological units. The whole project documentation is enclosed as an inseparable attachment of this diploma thesis.
Energy efficient building of cinema and gallery
Kučírek, Pavel ; Jelínek, Ondřej (referee) ; Blasinski, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the master project is to design a new building of the cinema with gallery and to design technical equipment. The building is „L“ shaped, the half of the building is single-storey and the other half is two-storey, there is no basement. The most important rooms are on the ground floor – gallery, cinema, foyer and staff rooms. On the second floor there is projector room, sound engineer room, recording room and other sound adjusting rooms. The vertical loadbearing and non-loadbearing walls are designed from aerated concrete blocks, horizontal structure are cast-in-place reinforced slabs, the roof is flat. There is a reinforced concrete staircase that leads to the second floor, the building is insulated by ETICS. There are 4 HVAC units designed in the building, units are controlled with monitoring and controlling unit, also there are photovoltaics and rainwater storage systems designed. The project and visualizations were made in the ArchiCAD, MS excel, DEK, Halton HIT, AeroCAD software. Experiment validates measured data with mathematical analytics model that I used in 7 theoretical models of ventilator controlling possibilities to achieve energy savings. Re-sults will be compared and assessed.
Energy efficient building of kindergarten in Holubice
Čtvrtečka, Václav ; Uher, Pavel (referee) ; Blasinski, Petr (advisor)
The aim of the master project is to design a kindergarten in Holubice, Czechia. The building has three parts. First includes classrooms and auxiliary premises (locker rooms, washrooms, etc.), second technical and staff facilities and the third one includes a gym with equipment storage. The first two parts are designed using load-bearing masonry, reinforced concrete floor slab and flat roof. Gym has a load-bearing system combining masonry and structural frame covered by a semi-circular flat roof. The whole building is equipped with HVAC systems. Heating energy is supplied by two condensing gas boilers. Air quality will be maintained by an air conditioning system. Photovoltaic panels are placed on the roof to support electricity. Rainwater will be collected in accumulation tanks and further used for flushing on the toilets and garden irrigation. The project was developed using AutoCAD (drawings) and Revit. The secondary task of the work is an extensive measurement of the CO2 concentration in a room with forced ventilation. The aim is to combine automatic regulation of forced ventilation, depending on the concentration of CO2. The result of such regulation is higher air comfort, service life of individual HVAC members and saving electricity.
Reconstruction of discharging shakeout machine electric installation
Bednář, Vojtěch ; Blecha, Martin (referee) ; Pazdera, Ivo (advisor)
This Diploma work is concerned with the design of project documentation for discharging shakeout machine electric installation. This work continues in the Semestral project 2 in which the background of a new machine was made. Then, this work deals with the replacement of a switch room with required devices including the design of a new connecting cables and power streams. In the first part, the work deals with the control part of the device and the design of control and signal cables including the product documentation of the device. In the second part, the work deals with the proposal of building electro installation in which a new lighting and its use is described. The last part focuses on the coordination during the realization of a suggested device. In this part, all problems coming from the particular working procedures including a proposal of possible solutions are described. According to the project documentation and following realization, the documentation of final concept reflecting the real status of the device is described.
Financial market and its legal aspects
Špaček, Tomáš ; Kotáb, Petr (advisor) ; Sejkora, Tomáš (referee)
The master's thesis on the topic of financial market and its legal aspects aims to analyse the weaknesses in the legal regulation of markets in financial instruments. The thesis is divided into six chapters, introduction and conclusion. The chapters are divided into subchapters. The first chapter defines the financial market and deals with its divisions. Since the legal aspects of financial market are a traditional subject of the study of financial law, the basic concepts of this field are notoriously well known. The first chapter therefore describes only the basic division that is applied to the financial markets. It then goes on to compare existing definition of the financial markets that can be found in academic literature. The second chapter discusses the capital market participants. As certain concepts of financial market might suggest, many different persons might fall into the category of market participants. This chapter, however, discusses selected persons who provide their services on the market in financial instruments. It focuses mainly on investment firm because it provides investors with access to the capital market. The third chapter discusses financial instruments. The fourth chapter concerns investment services that can be provided in relation to financial instruments. The fifth chapter...
Metal Artifacts Reduction in Dental CT Scans
Vágner, Dominik ; Juránková, Markéta (referee) ; Španěl, Michal (advisor)
Artifacts caused by the presence of metals in computed tomography scans impact their readability and can cause problems when making decisions for medical professionals. In recent years, deep learning-based methods have seen considerable success in solving this problem, compared to older hand-crafted solutions. In this work, two supervised neural network models (Autoencoder, U-net) are implemented, along with a better way to solve the problem of creating a synthetic dataset, as otherwise in this case it is naturally impossible to obtain. The results in evaluation metrics (PSNR, SSIM) achieved are on par with those of state-of-the-art solutions while reducing the need for prerequisites that are complicated to prepare. This generalized solution enables a broader and easier application without needing a specific controlled environment.

Market manipulation
Bala, David ; Dupáková, Lenka (advisor) ; Seknička, Pavel (referee)
Market Manipulation Abstract The thesis is structured in two main topics and four chapters. The aim of the first topic is a proposal of new theoretical division of market manipulation types and the follow-up analysis of the most common and the most serious types of market manipulation (from the author's perspective). A graph or a scheme is enclosed to almost every type of the market manipulation for better illustration and representation. The aim is not to provide an exhausting list, but rather to provide an outline of the fundamental theory. Every existing type of market manipulation should fall under one of these two categories - classic type of market manipulation (front running, squeezing, cornering, wash trading, bear raiding, pump and dump) or modern type of market manipulation (spoofing, layering, momentum ignition, pinging, fake news). The aim of the second topic is to map, analyze and explain the historical background of market manipulation regulation, its genesis and evolution in the European context. The main focus of the subchapter regarding historical background is the United Kingdom which always has been the pioneer of financial markets in the continental Europe. The subchapter is focused on the evolution from the end of the 17th century until the European integration regulation. In another...
