Li-Ion Accumulators – Comparison Of Cathode Materials

The issue of energy storage becomes increasingly important with the growing need for safe and clean energy that could be used in portable electronics and electric vehicles. This paper shortly introduces the topic of lithium-ion accumulators, compares currently used cathode materials and discusses promising future materials.

Study of life cycle of the accumulators

This bachelor work deals with monitoring the life cycle of a lithium-ion battery. The theoretical part describes the history and development of electrochemical cells. Lithium-ion batteries are a separate chapter. There are described their principles, the most used materials for the production of negative and positive electrodes, loading characteristics and the influence of temperature. In the practical part, the influence of temperature on changes of internal impedance, cell capacity and efficiency of energy supply during the battery life cycle is monitored.

Timekeeper for fire sport

The bachelor’s thesis to deals with the design of a time measuring device for a competition called fire sport. This timekeeper should be wireless and communicate in a sub-gigahertz spectrum. The first part of this work describes usable components. In the second part the thesis to deals with the design and itself realization.
