This diploma thesis deals with harvesting electrical power from renewable resources - natural raw materials, specifically from biomass, by means of energy producing equipment - biogas station. Theoretical part is focused on possibilities of energy production from renewable resources, analysis of administrative measures connected both with power engineering legislature and limited company establishing. It deals with procedures necessary for implementation of the plan and funding possibilities - grants and long term bank loans. Following analytical part is aimed to particular identification of surroundings, chances and risks connected with proposed design. Prospectus with the objective of establishing limited company BS Cerekvice nad Loučnou, s.r.o. is described in the project; this company will be focused on construction and operation of biogas station, producing electric power and heat.

Dopady Covid-19 na daňové příjmy obcí Jihomoravského kraje

Polcer, D. Impact of Covid-19 on tax revenues of municipalities in the South Moravian Region. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2023 The main goal of this diploma thesis is to identify the impacts of Covid-19 on tax revenues of municipalities in the South Moravian Region. The theoretical part describes the problem of share and assigned taxes, including their changes that affect the encashment in the given time period. The impacts of the Covid-19 pandemic are compared with the financial crisis in 2008. The practical part uses descriptive and econometric methods to analyse the revenue generated by individual taxes and major municipal revenues, including their impact due to legislative changes and the Covid-19 pandemic. On the basis of the analysis for the period from 2018 to 2021, it was found that the Covid-19 pandemic did not have a significant impact on encashment of tax revenues. Finally, some recommendations are offered that can affect the strategy of economic activities of municipalities in the South Mora-vian Region in the long term.

Bachelor thesis titled Tobacco use in the Czech Republic and legislative measures comprehensively summarized in the theoretical part of tobacco and its history, medical context smoking, the effects of nicotine, describes tobacco addiction and its treatment, and the last part is mainly engaged in tobacco control. Tobacco control is discussed from the perspective of the World Health Organization, the European Union and consequently describes the legislative measures applied in the Czech Republic In the practical part thesis deals with the prevalence of smoking in the Czech Republic, according to the resources available from the Institute of Health Information and Statistics of the Czech Republic, Czech National Monitoring Centre for Drugs and Addiction, The National Institute of Public Health and the World Health Organisation The research question was, what is the consumption of cigarettes in the Czech Republic, which was only found in the interval the minimum and maximum consumption of cigarettes from various administrative data sources. It was subsequently examined the relationship between the increasing rate of excise duty on tobacco products and the development of the number of smokers in the Czech Republic and their consumption. Invasive fish species in the Czech Republic

Summary
This bachelor thesis is focused on invasive fish species, which are able to influence our native ichtyofauna, and then a legislation, which contains this issue.
In the first chapters is explained a issue of ecological biodiversity, as well as the introduction of unoriginal fish species to our territory, with a continue by extension and
complete naturalization.
Another part is devoted to the detailed characteristics of invasive fish species that
represent a current threat for our native fish species. This chapter describes the silver crucian
carp (Carassius gibelio), Topmouth gudgeon (Pseudorasbora parva), brown bullhead (Ameiurus nebulosus) and round goby (Neogobius melanostomus).
Among non native fish species which are carrying the prerequisites for invasive penetration into Czech waters were classified species from the family of Gobiidae, therefore tubenose goby (Proterorhinus marmoratus), Kesslers goby (Ponticola kessleri), racer goby
(Neogobius gymnotrachelus) and monkey goby (Neogobius fluviatilis). From the family of
Odontobutidae was included Chinese sleeper (Perccottus glenii).
In chapter names Invasive species in the past there are characterized just two species, pumpkinseed (Lepomis gibbosus) and three spined stickleback (Gasterosteus
aculeatus), where their penetration into Czech waters had carried signs of invasiveness, but
over time their quantity is decreasing.
The final part is devoted to legislative measures concerting the introduction of non native fish species on our territory.

Analysis of the Quality of Cooperation between the Selected Health Facilities and Public Health Protection Authority in the Detection and Reporting of Sexually Transmitted Diseases.

My theses deal with evaluation of the level of cooperation among chosen medical facilities and organs protecting public health (OOVZ) in the area of detection and reporting some of sexually transmitted diseases (STD) in Strakonice region. The main objective was to characterize the quality of this cooperation on the basis of an analysis of laboratory-proven, clinically confirmed, reported and then demonstrated cases of STDs. It concerned chlamydial infections, urogenital diseases caused by mycoplasma, syphilis and gonococcal infections in 2005 - 2011. Research data were obtained from the microbiology laboratory information system of the Central Laboratories of Hospital Strakonice, Inc. Then all the medical facilities of the surrounding area, which took biological material and sent it for examination to the microbiological laboratory of Hospital Strakonice, were contacted. In qualitative research two research questions were formulated: whether the laboratory-positive cases of selected sexually transmitted diseases are also confirmed clinically and whether the laboratory and clinically confirmed diseases are reported in all cases to OOVZ and assigned in health information systems services. All positive laboratory findings were also verified and confirmed clinically. The research proved that in all cases were reported classical sexually transmitted infections (syphilis and gonorrhea). The established system of cooperation between microbiological laboratories, national reference laboratories, dermatovenerological consultant, venereological screening nurse and the Public Health Service is very functional. In contrast, other selected sexually transmitted diseases, which are diagnosed by specialists other than dermatovenerologists, are reported in fewer cases.

Internet gambling - Social Phenomenon of modern Age

First part of this thesis is focusing on history of internet gambling and its shift to the online environment. Other chapter is about psychological aspects which affects the approach to the gambling the most in many different environments with major focus on the online gambling and its characteristic differences. Main goal of this thesis is the evaluation of the present state of the regulation of internet gambling in some of the countries around the world and their comparison with the situation in Czech Republic. One of the outcomes is the summary of recommendations which should be taking into consideration while creating the new gaming act.
