Temperature Measurement with Microcontroller Aid
Harčár, František ; Holý, Miroslav (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
The thesis focuses on possibilities how to use inexpensive microcontrollers for temperature measurement. The designed module is appropriate both for laboratory curriculum, as well as for application in automation industry. A brief introduction is followed by a general explanation of the notion „measurement“ and a measurement history overview. Afterwards, there is a focus on history and development of temperature measurement and types of applied sensors. Conseguently, there is the thesis itself , its description, principles, connection schneme and measurement methodology. Finally, the thesis regards its commitment and findings.
Upgrade Thermal Chamber
Pagáč, Radek ; Marada, Tomáš (referee) ; Zuth, Daniel (advisor)
The target of this work is to modernize air-conditioning control of the unit Thermal Chamber. The old air-conditioning unit will be renewed by replacing old one by new one, microcontroller-driven control unit, trough which it will be possible to show the current and desired temperature LCD. Theoretically description of the components and methods of measuring the temperature and environment for the creation of the microcontroller is shown before construction.

Monitoring Electronics for Steam Engines Models
Benda, D.
The aim of the project was to design and implement a rotary position senzor for sensing rotational speed of steam engines using integrated circuits from the company Austria Micro Systems. Further, a temperature sensing boilers for heating water vapor using temperature sensors from the company Texas Instruments. All information from the sensors are processed in the ATmega16 microcontroller from the company Atmel. The output data are displayed on a display composed of seven segmented blocks.
