It is trying to understand this relation and examines what stories of this time and place had local researchers enthusiasts Tomas Novak and Ladislav Pavyza collected, and whether these stories are (or not) kept in the current collective memory, eventually what other stories resonate in it today. To reach the set goal, sources from both of the researchers and method of oral history were used. KEY WORDS ENG: Collective memory, oral history, Czech-German relations, personal stories, expulsion stories
