Analysis the quail performance

The goal of the bachelor thesis was to assess the quail performance. Production and reproduction characteristics are affected by both genetic and environmental effects. Nutrition, temperature and air humidity, light, air quality and floor space are ranged into them. The laying quail performance of commercial-type Japanese quail is about 300 eggs per year, with an average egg weight of 10 g. The protein content is 13.1% and the fat content is 11.2% in one quail egg. Quail eggs have a very favourable amino acid composition and they contain iron, phosphorus and vitamins A, B1 and B2. The meat has a higher content of myoglobin and darker organic pigments. The meat protein content is 22.9%, the fat content is 1.7?2.9% and the mineral content is 1.1%. The energy value of the breast muscles is 24.57 MJ and of the thigh muscles is 27.15 MJ. The dressing percentage in males is 64.8?65.7 % and in females is 74.8?75.9%.
