Rozvoj crowdfundingu v kontextu ekonomického vývoje vybraných zemí

This work deals with the connection between the development of the number of published crowdfunding project on the Kickstarter platform in USA a GB and the economic development of the United States of America and United Kingdom. The theoretical part explains the main concepts that introduce the issue. The advantages and disadvantage of crowdfunding and´its current development are characterized. The methodological part descries the procedures that we will proceed in the practical part. The practical part deals with the analysis of the United States of America and United Kingdom time series, which explains the development of the number of published projects and justify the factors that could affect the time series and correlation analysis, which explains the discussion of how the development of published crowdfunding projects are related to economic development.
Crowdfunding a jeho potenciál v EU a ČR

This diploma thesis deals with the development and potential of crowdfunding in the European Union and the Czech Republic. The thesis examines the structure of campaigns published on two crowdfunding portals - Kickstarter and HitHit. The main part is making of a logit model, which result is evaluation of the factors that influence the success of the campaigns. The examined factors include the number of supporters, the category to which the campaign is assigned, or the target amount. The main aim of this thesis is evaluation of the potential of crowdfunding in the Czech Republic and the European Union. The thesis also deals with evaluati-on of successful crowdfunding campaigns. At the end of the thesis there are evaluated success factors, such as a dance category or projects originating by initiators from the Great Britain. There are also discussed some risks which are associated with this type of financing and may threaten future development of crowdfunding in the European Union, such as Brexit.
Crowdfunding as a way of successful financing

This dissertation thesis deals with crowdfunding campaigns in terms of their structure and important elements of successful crowdfunding projects. The main aim of this thesis is to create a set of recommendations for the creation of successful crowdfunding projects. In order to achieve this task, the statistical method of binary logistic regression analysis is used to determine the effect of the utilization of the introductory video, the number of updates during the duration of the project, the number of imagines, the number of words in the project description, the duration of the project and the project category on the probability of success of the project. The first part of this thesis is composed of the description of different concepts of crowdfunding including their historical context, the crowdfunding business models and the project typology, chosen platforms and the principals of their operation, chosen successful campaigns and their structure. In the analytical part I deal with the impact of the above mentioned variables on the probability of success.
An analysis of crowdfunding in the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic and the United States in the example of comparing similar types of campaigns.

This bachelor thesis deals with the exploring the business of crowdfunding, a relatively new way of financing using modern technology. The motivation of potentional investors or people needing investment to employ this method of funding is also discussed, comparing the course of specific similar campaigns in the countries named above, and the influence of the general campaign success. The theoretical part of the thesis defines crowdfunding its types, properties and the technological environment in which it currently operates. Selected crowdfunding platforms are also described, along with, the specifications that significantly impact, the structure of customers and investors. The practical component of the thesis deals with the comparison of the reward-based crowdfunding in the Czech Republic, the Slovak Republic and the USA. The survey was conducted on the basis of the statistical analysis of the collected data, along with a questionnaire aimed at deducing the opinions of the public in relation to crowdfunding. The conclusion of this work is devoted to the formulation of knowledge gained from the empirical part of the work applicable to the local environment.

This bachelor thesis deals with the way of financing projects using the online money raising - crowdfunding. This is a modern method of financing, which in the Czech Republic has been experiencing great prosperity in recent years. In this work there is an explanation of the concept of crowdfunding, description of crowdfunding models, its history and possible causes. In order to raise money by using crowdfunding, it is necessary to create the right crowdfunding campaign. The practical part of thesis is about analyzing 4 crowdfunding campaigns using questions that has been answered by campaigns authors. Based on their answers and their experience with this type of financing, there are factors that predict crowdfunding campaign to be successful / unsuccessful.
Zvyšování efektivnosti crowdfundingových kampaní

The aim of this thesis is to analyze crowdfunding campaigns on Kickstarter, and contribute towards increasing the effectiveness of such campaigns, as most campaigns are unsuccessful. The theoretical part will focus on defining crowdfunding as the new phenomena of capital distribution and compared with other forms of financing new ideas. The empirical part focuses on a paired comparison analysis of campaigns from two various locations and three industries in total. Factores affecting the successfulness are analyzed and a pattern which would help towards solving the initial problem is looked for. The aim of the thesis was fulfilled by giving recommendations which have an impact on the success rate.
Analysis of success factors of the crowfunding campaign in IT field

Bachelor thesis deals with crowdfunding success factors in IT. The aim of this work is to find these factors and their verification. The theoretical part describes crowdfunding as a whole and a website Kickstarter, which is dedicated to running crowdfunding campaigns. There are explained the key concepts of Kickstarter, described the history and rules. This section also explains who can use services of Kickstarter. Furthermore, this chapter describes why gaming industry was chosen specifically for this analysis and what its importance in crowdfunding is. Next part is devoted to foreign and Czech alternatives to Kickstarter. In the next section there are designed possible success factors and how they can be verified. This part describes a statistical method to test these factors. In the practical part there was made analytical evaluation of successful and unsuccessful campaigns. Then statistical test are performed to determinate factors depending on the success of the campaign. Objective of analytical evaluation of the tests was to determine the success factors. As the most important success factor was found to be a large degree of activity on social networks.
