This bachelor thesis deals with an important organist, composer and teacher from Klatovy, Josef Klička. The aim of the thesis is to critically evaluate Josef Klička's correspondence with his family during his studies at the Prague Conservatory between 1867 and 1870. A close analysis of the letters reveals more about his student years in Prague and his dramatic departure from the Prague Conservatory.
