Language isolate of Jihlava before 1939

The aim of this MA dissertation is to focus on the language isolate of Jihlava mostly in the 20th century. In particular, on the events regarding the situation during the First Republic, when the tension between the Czech and German speaking citizens started to increase. The first part will be dedicated to a territorial and administrative division in order to establish grounds upon which the discussed events will be clarified and described in terms of ethnic and territorial situation. To resume the topic of my BA thesis and to accentuate the facts and results with regard to geographical demarcation, I would like to focus on the presidial writings from which I have already drawn in said thesis. I will attempt to reconstruct all the sources, except for the letters taken from archives which I have already used in my BA thesis. Emphasis will be put on the policy situation and then reports of the security authorities which were monitoring the difficult situation in the language isolate of Jihlava and which were reporting all the relevant information.

Brownfields - comparison of rural areas in the regions of Pelhřimov and Jihlava

This master thesis, entitled "Brownfields - comparison of rural areas of Pelhřimov and Jihlava" focuses on the issue of brownfields, their typology, their characteristics and the terms associated with them. Core of the whole work was a field survey of selected municipalities in the Pelhřimov and Jihlava districts in which these objects were searched. Based on these empirical data, areas were compared not only with each other, but also with the public register of brownfields. The impact of brownfields on the quality of life of local populations emerged from the results of a simple survey. The aim of the thesis was to map the occurrence of brownfields in designated areas and the subsequent comparison between the evidence and the actual state.

Studie vybraného úseku řeky Jihlavy

The thesis summarizes the available information describing the selected section of the Jihlava River between the villages of Dolní Smrčné from river's kilometre 121,847 to 126,399. The primary focus is on natural conditions, history of the water flow, the development of river water quality in recent decades and the flood situation. Finally the thesis describes the current state of the watercourse, riparian vegetation, buildings in the watercourse and its surroundings. The thesis also includes a brief proposal of measures to improve the current state of the area.

Innovation of tourism for students on the Třebíč region and Jihlava region

The theme of my thesis was an innovation of a tourist product for students in the area of Třebíč and Jihlava. The main objective was to determine the preferences of students for organizing school trips, according to which should a product be designed, meeting the requirements of tourism for leisure time and to serve as an educational object as well.
