Janaplan - School of Humanity

This thesis deals with the concept of education of German pedagogue and university professor Peter Petersen, on the basis of which he elaborated and verified a pedagogical concept called the Jenaplan, which is a synthesis of different lines of the international reform educational movement of the beginning of the last century. It's only ten years left, and one centuries since the first verification of this concept at the practice school of university of Jena and the first book publication of The Small Jena-Plan (Der kleine Jena- Plan, 1927). Yet it is still a challenge that encourages thinking about changes in the work of a regular school. Still again, he questions the stereotypes and serves as a contemporary model of the school as a workshop of humanity. The first chapter deal with the historical background of the reform educational movement and the basic features of reform pedagogy. The second chapter describes the life of Peter Petersen. The third chapter is devoted to the basic elements of Petersen's pedagogy and the principles of the Jenaplan school. The fourth chapter forms the core of the theoretical part of the work and, on the basis of quotes from Petersen's writings, describes and interprets its concept of pedagogical anthropology, which is the starting point for education to humanity. A perspective of students from Faculty of Education of University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice on alternative attitudes in education and on potential application of these methods in their practise

The thesis is focused on a subjective perspective of students from Faculty of Education of University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice on attitudes in education and on potential application of these methods in their practise. In this thesis is covered general exploration which characterizes particular types of alternative schools and alternative approaches in the process of education. Data were gained from questionnaire and with usage of didactical test. On research were participated 139 students from Faculty od Education of University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice. In the result part are covered finding outs which refer to fact that most of students would use alternative attitudes during their practise even if only small part of them have ever visited any of alternative schools. The higher percentage of respondents answered that they have only limited information about alternative education which was verified by didactical test. The average access from the test was 50%.
History of Waldorf schools in the world and the Czech Republic, comparison of waldorf education to other classic reform directions

The work deals with the history of waldorf schools and waldorf pedagogy compares to other classic reform schools. At the beginning of the thesis defines the term alternative school and typology alternative schools. The thesis is focused on the creation and development of waldorf schools around the world and the Czech Republic. Describes in detail the founding of the first waldorf School in Germany and Bohemia. Mentioned is the founder of waldorf education Rudolf Steiner. In the chapter on the first waldorf school in Bohemia text based on interviews with the initiator and first class teacher. Of the waldorf schools around the world during the years 1991 to 2013 is derived interested in waldorf pedagogy. Third and concluding part of the paper compares the waldorf pedagogy with other classic reform schools. These schools include waldorf school, montessori school, dalton school, modern school Célestin Freinet and Jena plan.
AWARENESS OF THE CZECH SOCIETY ABOUT ALTERNATIVE PEDAGOGICAL TENDECIES

Alternative schools mean education which differs completely or partly in their aids, teaching contents, forms of leasing and teaching from education offered by state or other traditional institutions. In theoretic part of my thesis a method of secondary analysis of data was used. In order to check supposed hypotheses and to realise the aims of research part are used methods questioning, technique questionnaire. The main aim of the thesis was to find out informedness of the Czech community on possibilities of alternative education. Partial aim was to chart the public{\crq}s opinions on form of this kind of education. Estimated hypothesis that parents prefer education of standard (common) schools of given educational system to alternative education was confirmed with a clear sequence to partial hypothesis. Partial hypothesis says that the main mason why parents prefer the standard schools of given educational system to alternative education is curriculum ignorance of offered alternative.
