Tests Code Coverage of JBoss Application Server
Žiaková, Nikoleta ; Smrčka, Aleš (referee) ; Letko, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with tests code coverage of JBoss application server. To gather code coverage information, the tools Emma and Cobertura were used. The bachelor's thesis is divided into two main parts. The first of them acquaints reader with technologies used and prepares theoretical basis for the second part. The second part is practical and describes procedure for obtaining coverage information by chosen tools and its subsequent analysis. Results provide an overview of code coverage development during development of the applicaion server as well as a comparison of the used tools.
Integration of JMS Providers to Third Parties
Žiaková, Nikoleta ; Letko, Zdeněk (referee) ; Dudka, Vendula (advisor)
This thesis deals with messaging and integration of third-party JMS providers into JBoss application server. The aim of the thesis was to design and implement a general-purpose testsuite to verify the proposed integration. First requirement was to get familiar with key technologies for integration including Java Message Service, Java EE Connector Architecture, selected JMS providers and JBoss AS. Specific procedures of integration were designed and described for JMS providers Apache ActiveMQ, IBM WebSphere MQ and Red Hat MRG Messaging. The testsuite implemented to verify the functionlity of the integration focuses on four areas - transactions, clustering, high availibility and performance. The process of testing was automated using continuous integration tool Jenkins. Finally the test application was used to evaluate functionality of the integration and compare different JMS providers and various versions of JBoss AS.
Comparision of Seam Forge and Spring Roo Tools
Navláčil, Ondřej ; Smrčka, Aleš (referee) ; Kočí, Radek (advisor)
The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to compare the rapid application development tools Spring Roo and JBoss Forge and to deploy created applications on the JBoss AS application server. The first part this thesis describes an evolution of Java EE platform, evolution of tools and frameworks for rapid application development and also reasons for a need of these tools in Java EE platform. The second part describes creation of simple applications with the same functionality using Spring Roo and JBoss Forge. The second part also compares their capabilities in various aspects like testing support, applying these tools on already started projects or support in integrated development environments.
