Social Critique in the Book of Isaiah

Social critique in the book of Isaiah represents social conditions between Israel´s and Judea´s nation. The work is concerned with the reign of the king Achas. In that time there was a threat of attack from north Israel and Aram. The thesis is about the king Heskiah, his personality and his attitude to people. The important fact is that God is speaking through the prophet Isaiah. In the second part of this work the term social critique is explained, as well as its relation to the prophet himself. There are several different academic views on dividing the structure of the book Isaiah. After that the text of Isaiah is following. It concerns with social critique. It deals also with the meaning of prophecy for all people and thus it offers application for this time.
