Freivaldová, M., Strategy of development of travel agency Freibus s.r.o. after the Covid-19 pandemic. Bachelor thesis. Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2023. The subject of the bachelor thesis is an evaluation of a current situation of the travel agency Freibus s.r.o. because of the global Covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent formulation of strategic proposals that will lead to its development and increase of its awareness. In the literary research of the work are defined the basics of theoretical knowledge of tourism, strategic management, and analytical tools. At the same time, we pay attention to the definition of the specifics of the coronavirus in the literature search. The analytical part evaluates the external environment using the model PESTE and Porter's five forces model. The internal environment of the travel agency is analysed by an extended marketing mix of 8P, related to tourism and by carrying out a financial analysis. For the subsequent evaluation of the identified factors are used the EFE and IFE matrices from which the recommended suggestions follow. Specific suggestions are ultimately time-bounded and economically based.
Competition analysis of ski schools

Title: Competition analysis of ski schools Objectives: The main objective of the bachelor thesis is to compare the two strongest ski schools in a region in the Czech Republic, which is achieved by analysing the internal environment of the two selected ski schools. The marketing research is carried out by means of in-depth interviews with the managers of each ski school. Based on the marketing research, the ski schools are compared. The result of the work simplifies the decision-making process of users and employees and proposes recommendations to managers taking into account these results. Methods: The qualitative research method is used in this thesis. For qualitative research, the main method is in-depth interviews with ski school managers, which are combined with document analysis. Based on the information obtained, the McKinsey 7S model is constructed, which helps to identify strengths and weaknesses. These factors are evaluated using the IFE matrix. The paper concludes with a comparison of the internal environment of the companies. Results: The result of the work is an internal analysis of two ski schools in a region in the Czech Republic. The aim of this diploma thesis is the aplication of strategic management process under the conditions of small business. The opportunities, threats, strengths and weaknesses are identified by means of situation analysys of the external environment (e. g. PESTE analysys, Porter's analsys of the environment in the line of business) and the internal environment analysys (e. g. the McKinsey's 7S, the Porter's value chain analysys, the procedural attitude towards the organization and a brief financial analysys). Factors selected during the situation analysys are used by the IFE and EFE matrix to gain the total weighted score of external and internal environment of the organization. The outputs of IFE and EFE matrix are afterwards applied within the framework of Internal-External matrix, which enables us to make a choice of the general strategic position of the organization. Afterwards a SWOT analysys helps us to specify the final strategic recommendations for the selected organization.
Návrh stratégie pre business hotel

The aim of this thesis is to design a strategy for a Business hotel. It will be based on the analysis of external and internal environment, where will be used the company data. The design strategy will lead to increased competitiveness as well as greater occupancy of hotel rooms. PESTE analysis and Porter’s five forces analysis will be used to analyse the external environment. The analysis of the internal environment will be based on the company data. This list of external and internal factors will then be used for further investigation. In the thesis it will be used EFE and IFE Matrix. Then the SWOT analysis will be created. Then with this SWOT analysis will be design a strategy that will improve some hotel processes and increase occupancy of hotel rooms. The design strategy will be economically evaluated.

The diploma thesis deals with the proposal of strategic alternatives of the selected agricultural company. These issues are explored in the practical part on the basis of the required theoretical foundations. The whole thesis is divided into two key parts, literary research and practical part. Based on the results of the analyses which were carried out in the practical part of the thesis, there are formulated strategic recommendations. Subsequently, a detailed proposal for implementation of the selected strategic alternative is compiled and the economic impacts of this selected strategic alternative are evaluated.

The topic of this diploma thesis is “Environmental analysis and strategy formulation of sports facilities operator.” The main aim of this diploma thesis is evaluation of external and internal environment and formulation of strategic alternatives for the operator of sport facilities in Brno, Starez sport, a.s. External factors are identified via PEST and Porter´s five forces analysis, internal factors are analyzed by The extended marketing mix method of 7P´s. Final evaluation is projected into Internal- External matrix. Strategies proposed by the Internal-External matrix are further specified using SWOT matrix and finally the most attractive strategic alternative is chosen and elaborated. The result of this thesis analyzes among others current situation and competition among swimming pools providers in Brno as well.
