Integrated Flight Briefing System of the Aeronautical Information Service of the Czech Republic
Ohřál, Jan ; Šplíchal, Miroslav (referee) ; Hammer, Jaromír (advisor)
This thesis deals with the evaluation of the Integrated Briefing System AIS CZ web application. It is main focus are the possibilities of using this application by end-users, together with it is application on a specific example of preparation for flight under IFR and VFR. Another task is to compare this application with similar available applications.
Automation and control of multilayers deposition by IBS/IBAD
Pavera, Michal ; Sobota, Jaroslav (referee) ; Urbánek, Michal (advisor)
This diploma thesis deals with the automation of the deposition process by ion beam sputtering and ion beam assisted deposition. This work contains drawings of mechanical adjustments of the deposition chamber designed to control shutter and rotation of the target using stepper motors. There are presented ways to control stepper motors and troubleshoot their exact settings. Another task is to design a system for computer control of the deposition process. There are discussed ways to control the ion sources, pressure meter, flow meter and thickness meter, and their connection to a PC via RS-232 and analog-digital converters. It is also designed control program in LabVIEW, which allow automated multilayer deposition. Last part of the thesis deals with testing automatic deposition and results are commented.
Computer control of the deposition process
Pavera, Michal ; Voborný, Stanislav (referee) ; Urbánek, Michal (advisor)
This bachaloers thesis deals with automation of the deposition process of the ultrathin layers by IBAD method. One of the tasks is to design motorized target and shutter manipulator. The thesis therefore contain drawings of these manipulators. Which enable their control by stepper motors. Second task is to design of electronics and program control of primary and secondary ion source. In this part is described connection of the system with the computer using AD/DA converters and the appropriate programming. Last part of the thesis deals with differences between automated and manual control of the system, their advantages and disadvantages.
The deposition of thin films by the ion sputtering IBS/IBAD
Hudeček, Jan ; Pavera, Michal (referee) ; Dvořák, Petr (advisor)
The submitted bachelor’s thesis are dealed with concept and design of holder of new palette, which is determine for deposition equipment, which belongs to institue of physical engineering and which is called as Kaufmann. Introductory chapters of bachelor’s thesis deals about possibilities of production of thin films, ways of growth of thin films and introduction to vakuum physics. Next chapter is given to current deposition and current deposition equipment Kaufmann. In the next chapter are descriptions of construct solution of holder of new palette and construct solution of palette. The last chapter is given to calibration and optimalization of deposition with new palette.
Effect of intestinal microflora on the activity of higher brain centers
Arnold, Tomáš ; Hock, Miroslav (advisor) ; Melkes, Barbora (referee)
Abstract Intestinal microflora consists of large bacterial community that resides in the intestines, especially the colon, and lives in symbiosis with the host. It consists mainly representatives of the four bacterial strains (Actinobacteria, Bacteroidetes, Firmicutes and Proteobacteria). It has already been shown that the proportional representation of the bacterial strains in time does not change much, but the research of the last decade have shown irrefutable effect between the change of diet and composition of the intestinal microflora. In addition, there is evidence of changes in the representation of bacterial strains in the course of development of certain intestinal pathologies such as inflammatory bowel disease. More and more are starting to emerge papers describing the influence of altered intestinal microflora respectively its representatives, on the activity and function of the CNS. This interaction of the digestive system and CNS seems to be bidirectional and mediated by several different pathways. Finally, it shows that dysbiosis of the intestinal microflora promotes anxiety and depression that can lead to the urge to prematurely terminate life. The aim of this work is to provide a comprehensive view of this relatively young, but also very interesting...
Gut microbiota effect on neuropsychiatric diseases
Pospíšil, Vít ; Kostovčíková, Klára (advisor) ; Červená, Kateřina (referee)
The intestinal microbiome is formed by trillions of microorganisms that accompany us throughout our lives. Commensal gut microorganisms, as a complex system, interfere with diet processing and subsequent spectrum of released metabolites, which are involved in communication with other systems of the human body. Recently, a link between intestinal microbiota dysbiosis and activation of the immune response has begun to emerge. This pathophysiological condition is associated with the loosening of the tight junctions of the gut epithelial barrier, which could together with prolonged immune inflammation lead to what is known as irritable bowel syndrome. This disease is not only related to symptoms associated with bowel discomfort, but also to effects on afferent nerve endings. This connection has been called as the gut-brain axis and became the link between the gut microbiota and psychiatric diseases. This work is summing up the actual knowledge on this topic and offers a comprehensive overview of the subject from both an immunological and a microbiological point of view. Key words: gut-brain axis, depression, anxiety, antibiotics, antidepressants, probiotics, IBS

Diversity of the genus Blastocystis (Stramenopiles)
Lorencová, Markéta ; Čepička, Ivan (advisor) ; Kostka, Martin (referee)
Although the genus Blastocystis is only little known, it has recently attracted much attention of protistologists and parasitologists. Similarly to the related opalines and proteromonads, Blastocystis is anaerobic and lives endobiotically in intestines of many animals. On the other hand, members of the genus have completely lost flagella. Therefore, the phylogenetic position of Blastocystis had been puzzling for a long time. B. hominis is one of the most common intestinal parasites of humans and has been found also in a wide variety of animals. It is highly prevalent not only in the developing nations, but also in the developed countries. Its enormous genetic diversity, pathogenic and zoonotic potential (B. hominis is often associated with irritable bowel syndrome) make from B. hominis an important emerging pathogen.
Development of the process of ion beam sputtering of the ITO thin films
Hlubuček, Jiří
This report deals with ITO (indium tin oxide) deposition by ion-beam sputtering, and was custom-made for Crytur. All the depositions were performed at room temperature (i.e. without heating). Optimalization of ITO thin films was made without as well as with the assistant ion beam using oxygen or argon-oxygen discharge. Deposition rate was tracked in-situ by quartz crystal monitor. More precise determination of the film thickness was made after deposition by spectroscopic ellipsometry. Electrical resistance was also evaluated.\n
