Life Stories of Villagers in the Village Hosín between 1670 - 1680

The work drawn out hereunder, or more precisely, first part of it, will be applied to matters of country life in the era of early modern times, in the seventeenth century.At the beginning I would try to to make clear what should be understood under the expression "country man" and I will chart the structure of village as such. I would like to direct my attention to a single representatives of villages (parish priest, reeve, and others) and I will outline their roles. That will allow me to get better to describe the epitome of the rustic's family life, and differences between mentalities of rustics and dwellers, in this era. The way of perceiving the reality of the problems of life was so to great extent diferent, that I do consider it necessary to give it a special attention. I will also mention, shortly, rural wedding, and traditions and practices related to it. In the second part of my composition I would like to direct my attention to the ups and downs of the village people as well as of their indvidual fortunes that I would like to demonstrate on the individual cases in the community of Hosín, then also of the dominion of Hluboká, naturally during the era 1670-1680.
