The subject of this bachelor thesis is to design new building of the gymnasium of the elementary school in Dolní Kounice. The project is based on a study created in the summer semester 2019 in the subject called AG035 „Ateliér architektonické tvorby 5“. Mass of the new created gymnasium responds to surroundings, which consisting of steep hills with wine cellars and buildings of elementary school and kindergarten. All those mass form optically enclosed space. The building therefore is located under the terrain and blending with the surrounding as much as possible. Only visible mass from the outside is green roof in the shape of barrel vault, which freely passes into the surrounding grassy area and it is also open to public. It seems like big green hill in exterior. Only markable exterior elements are the main entrance and escape exits, chimney and skylights. The designed gymnasium has a rectangular shape of floorplan and the building is devied into three floor acording the functions. In the first floor, there is entrance hall, first underground floor is mainly for the public and second underground floor is for the athletes. Julínek, Roman ; Fišer, Jiří (referee) ; Odvárka, Antonín (advisor) ; Petříček, Tomáš (advisor)
The Bachelor´s work is based on the project, that was made for the subject AG035 in the sixth semester of the Bachelor´s degree. The topic of the assignment is a new building of the gymnasium in Dolní Kounice. It is a land around an elementary school in a slightly sloping terrain. The building consists of one aboveground and one underground floor. The underground floor is determined as a sports hall with facilities, dressing rooms and technical facilities for the building service. The first floor consists of a social hall for the public with a representative space including a café, a judo hall and a fitness. Sanitary facilities include both floors. The whole building is solve as a wheelchair accessible building. The design of the gymnasium responds to the place and surroundings in which the plot is located. It is a simple mass, divided in height into two parts, which extend from the sloping terrain and smoothly follow it. An interesting feature is the processing of the exposed concrete wall with wooden paneling with the Olympic theme of pictograms in the corridor on the underground floor, which connects the new building with the elementary school through an underground tunnel. This motif continues on the facade of the building through colored foils for glass. The work also deals with the design of the playground on the roof of the building together with the intensive vegetation roof. The gymnasium is a good solution for the city's background. It will find its use by nursery and elementary school pupils, young people and the general public interested in sporting and cultural events.
Gymnasium Dolní Kounice
Pavliš, Michael ; Teplý, Vladimír (referee) ; Odvárka, Antonín (advisor) ; Petříček, Tomáš (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to design newly-built gymnasium in Dolní Kounice. The project follows on from the architectural study, elaborated in the third year of the subject AG035 - "Architectural design 5", and develops AG036 - "Complex Project" of the fourth year. It also includes the result of the work of the subject AG028 - "Detail in architecture 2". The task of the work was to process design documentation for building permission and design documentation for execution of work using CAD systems. The gymnasium building itself is a single-storey building buried below ground level, so it does not create an excessive barrier for local wine cellars located next to the plot. The building is affiliated with the local primary school with a possible use for the general public, both for sport and social city events. In the building there is a hall meeting requirements for playing national handball, small hall and a universal room. The construction also includes 60 metres long running track with broad jump, outdoor kindergarten, playground with synthetic surface and open-air cinema. The building is connected to the school through an underground tunnel. Walkable roofs are available to local winemakers, their customers and also to the public.
Ethics Horizons at a Gymnazium
FEJTOVÁ, Blanka
The thesis deals with the state of interpersonal relationships, students' relations to humanities and science and ethical values in grammar school. The theoretical part deals with the principles of upbringing and education at grammar school and the definition of the concepts of ethical values. The practical part includes a system of evaluation of the interpretations of students' interviews with regard to the quality of interpersonal relationships and level of teaching, students' attitudes and relationships to the school subjects taught and ethical values. The quality of interpersonal relationships appears to be at a very good level in connection with the size of the gymnasium of around 400 students. The level of teaching meets the expectations of the students and the requirements for admission to universities and thus legitimises the existence of a generally focused grammar school. The students accept with slight resentment the disbalance in favour of science while subjects of humanities are neglected, and they show the practice of basic ethical values.
Energy-efficient falconry building in Brno
Dorazilová, Tereza ; Blasinski, Petr (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
The goal of this thesis is the design of a Gymnasium (“Sokolovna”) situated in Brno. The thesis is composed of three parts – architectural and structural design, building services and measurements. The first part deals with building design, layout of rooms and materials design be. Building has two above ground floors, and it should be mainly used as a sports and cultural centre. On the first floor, there is a large gym, a vestibule, changing rooms for cultural events and a small canteen. On the second floor, which is intended mainly for sports activities, we can find bathrooms, changing rooms, a small gym and a room with bouldering wall. Main load-bearing material will be ceramic bricks. Other materials which we can find in the design are mineral wool, polystyrene, glass, concrete, wood etc. The second part of this thesis is focused on building services: heating, ventilation, lights, photovoltaic panels and rainwater management. The last part is devoted to measuring the photovoltaic panel with air fan. The measurement deals with the relation between the intensity of solar radiation and the outside temperature also with the difference between the outside temperature and surface temperature of the PV panel. An anemostat and datalogger were used to measure temperature and solar radiation. The results shows that the surface of the PV panel is absorbing, PV panel also can be used as an air collector and last result is that in winter, when the outside temperature is low it can be high intensity of solar radiation too, so PV panel it can be used in whole year.

Možnosti užití ICT ve výuce biologie člověka na střední škole
STRNAD, David
The integration of modern technologies (ICT) into the educational process has recently been a world-wide trend that reflects the rapid development of these technologies, as well as the needs of the young generation. Digital literacy is not only an important skill, but also a requirement of the society today. The implementation of ICT in teaching then depends not only on material requirements, but, above all, on the digital competencies of teachers and pupils. This work, therefore, deals with the possibilities and opportunities that technology brings to the teaching of human biology at secondary schools in both the full-time and distance learning modes, and the views of students and teachers on its use. The mixed research, which involved 22 teachers and 110 pupilss, was conducted as semi-structured interviews and a questionnaire survey. The design of a teaching unit with ICT elements on a selected topic in the field of human biology, its implementation, and evaluation is also a part of this work.
Sports and Relaxation Centre Za Lužánkami, Brno
Julínek, Roman ; Kotek, arch Jakub (referee) ; Odvárka, Antonín (advisor)
The architectural-urban study of the sports and recreational centre Za Lužánkami in Brno deals with the complex design of the sports and recreational complex. At present, the area of the former Boby Centre is in a poor condition. Fully functioning buildings in the area are a hotel, a concert hall and a tennis hall with outdoor courts, while the remaining buildings and areas, led by the football stadium, are dilapidated and do not fulfil their potential for public life. I approached the assignment as a solution to a complicated problem with many variables. The design provides a clear definition and morphology of the buildings, living, sports and recreational areas, including green spaces. It helps to social interaction and induce new contacts between people. It addresses the needs of current and future generations of residents. Connects and links to the transport infrastructure of the neighbourhood at all levels. Refers to the past and thus preserves in all respect the famous sporting genius of the locus to which it adds its own distinctive added value. Based on the design concept, a study has been carried out that takes advantage of a quality site in an attractive location in the city and offers a range of sports and recreational facilities. The main idea behind the design was to connect and relate the area to its surroundings. To offer a high quality public realm that will appeal to as many residents as possible across all generations through its range of functions and focus. Proportionate to its size and importance, several masses and objects were designed to divide the large area into smaller interconnected units. Each area has its own face, its own content and its own typical atmosphere that will win over its users. A good public space can be recognised by the way its users treat it. It becomes a mirror of society. If the design listens to the wishes and needs of the majority of the inhabitants, it becomes useful and sustainable at any time.

Its land is located in the north side of Dolní Kounice in the South Moravian Region near a primary school and a kindergarten. From the south side, the area is bordered by multi-storey buildings of the primary school and the kindergarten. From the west and the east sides, the area is edged with buildings of wine cellar or just with entrances into these cellars. In the north side there is an area of old brickyard. On the land of the gym there is a current outdoor playground of the primary school with an artificially created surface, a parking place and a fenced playground of the kindergarten. The space is intersected by an access road leading to the cellars in the west part. Along the edge of the east side there is a driveway leading to the local brickyard and it continues to the area of past sand quarry above the municipality. The gym is designed especially for the needs of the local primary school and the kindergarten, then for public. The gym will serve not only for teaching the physical education but also for sport and social usage of residents of the municipality. This work covers a scheme of solutions of ambient outdoor areas of the gym. The sport hall is a reinforced concrete cast-in-place two-floor building of a block shape mostly below the level of ground as a response to the valley type of countryside created by ambient buildings of wine cellars, the steep slope behind them and the high-rise building of the primary school which closes this area. The entrance into this area is located in the south part of the first subterranean floor which is not below the level of the adjacent terrain. The first subterranean floor is designed mainly for organizing educational, social activities and for the fans of the sportsmen.
