Horká, Tereza ; Zeman, Karel (advisor) ; Petrášek, František (referee)
The production of energy from renewable energy sources is very actual topic, mainly because of all the problems. It is very big national economic issue, because from the beginning the parameters of solar power support were wrongly set. It will be big financial burden for all the people and the country. In the theoretical part there will be general characteristics the energy production of RES, also the legal environment for energy production and the importance of RES for national economics. In this part it will describe views of the experts about energy production of RES. In analytical part there will be analyzed the strategy of production energy of RES in Czech Republic from 1992 till present, mainly the legal and economical environment, because the state fundamentally determine this sphere. The aim of this work is to analyze the strategy of Czech Republic in production energy of RES, and also asses the consequences for the national economics.
Strategy of ČEZ, a.s. in electricity generation from renewable sources
Stillerová, Alžběta ; Zeman, Karel (advisor) ; Zemplinerová, Alena (referee)
The subject of renewable energy is a very topical issue. Alternative energy sources are often considered as a way to act responsibly to the environment while achieving a partial energy independence. A system to support production of renewable energy through subsidized purchase price was implemented in the Czech Republic. As a result of this support, renewable energy has become to be a very profitable business, and therefore there is a significant increase in the amount of new solar and wind power plants in recent time. This situation has disadvantages: in addition to growth of electricity prices, there is a real risk that the distribution network in the Czech Republic will not be able to handle the increasing amount of electricity from solar and wind power plants, which are characterized by instability in energy supplies. The theoretical part contains a description of the legislation and the overall conditions for the production of electricity from renewable sources in the Czech Republic. It characterizes the segments of electricity production from renewable sources from theoretical and general aspects. The analytical chapters of the work are devoted to the strategy of ČEZ, a.s., in the production of renewable energy with regard to requirements of authorities, especially the state and the European Union. Then, the chapters analyze the effectiveness of renewable energy which is achieved by ČEZ, a.s. The effectiveness of these alternative sources is compared to the efficiency of traditional, non-renewable energy sources. The aim of this work is to analyze the strategy in power generation from renewable sources of ČEZ, a.s., which is the dominant producer and distributor of electricity in the Czech Republic.
Analysis of policy in support of generation electricity from renewable resources in Czech republic.
Juklíček, Jan ; Zeman, Karel (advisor) ; Ryvolová, Ivana (referee)
The bachelor thesis aims on analysis of support in generation of electricity from renewable resources in the Czech Republic and its historical development. In the view of gradual growth of consumption and prices of energy is this thesis very actual, especially in the time of global financial crisis. Theoretical part of the work defines main historical goals in economic policy, which led to the policy of support in generation of electricity from renewable resources. Then the description of renewable and non-renewable resources fallows. Theoretical part ends with consideration of possibility, that non-renewable resources could be worked-out. In analytical part of the work is researched policy of support in generation of electricity from renewable resources. The main sort of subventions in the Czech Republic and legislature of European Union is defined. Impacts of these policies are shown on share of electricity production from renewable resources and gross domestic consumption. This research is compared with other members of European Union. The last part analyzes usability of each renewable resource in conditions of the Czech Republic. The main goal of this bachelor work is analysis of support in generation of electricity from renewable resources in the Czech Republic and eventual recommendations on improvement in these policies.
