Optimization of Structural Details of Wooden Buildings, Their Assessment and Influence on the Lifetime of a Building

Wood-base buildings are becoming more common among new buildings. That is why it is necessary to comprehensively perceive the shortcomings that are typical of this type of construction. In general, they can include defects caused by inappropriate design or poor construction. Subsequent deficiencies can thus be a direct consequence of the degradation of the structure, they can affect the quality of the internal environment and the overall service life of a building.
Family house

This bachelor thesis presents a design of a a family house for 4 -5 member family. The house is situated in Lány near Prague. The house is designed as a two-storey house with a partly flat roof and partly classical roof. Both inside and outside the house, the design respects different levels of the ground around. The house is divided into a living area and garage. The ground floor is intended as a daytime area and it is suitable for family activities. The first floor with bedrooms is intended as a place to sleep and relax. The entrance into the family house is designed on the ground floor. The house is built on a concrete base platform supported by foundation structure. The ground floor and the first floor are made of ceramic blocks. Exterior walls are insulated with Rockwool mineral wool panels. The roof is designed from prefabricated extensive green roof trays. Analysis of thermal and mechanical properties of the house and fire safety report on the building solution is also a part of this bachelor thesis.

The bachelor‘s thesis main focus is the design of reinforced concrete foundations. The purpose of this thesis is to design the height of the foundation and the dimensioning of the reinforcements. It also deals with tilting and carrying capacity of the foundation gap. Mechanical drawings of the reinforcements and the shape of the foundation are also part of this thesis
Family House

The subject of this thesis is a new family house with commercial space, street Na vysluni, which lies on the Czech-Moravian Highlands. This house is designed family of five, parents and three children. The house has a design office. It is a modern two-story house without a basement. Both the exterior and interior is designed in a minimalist design. The house has a garage with one space. Before the garage is uncovered paved area, which serves as additional parking spaces, with the option to shutdown three vehicles. On the flat roof above the 2nd floor, the technology was used green roofs, as well as part of the terrace. To residents of the house were not isolated from the external environment, are in the house with large windows and doors. These offer plenty of light and heat. In the summer months protects against heat roller blinds integrated into the facade. Shelter, which is common to the garage and the main entrance is accessible office with its own bathroom and kitchenette. The office is accessible for clients from the main access road, this entry is completely separated from private grounds of the house. On the perimeter wall is used brickwork completed the hydrophobic mineral wool.

The subject of this diploma work is the new building of a family house at Boží Dar town, that is situated in the mountain resort. The family house has a cellar, it is two storied with an attic apartment. The building is devided into three units . The first unit is found on the first floor and is designed as an apartment. The other units are situated in the attic and are designed for a short-term or long-term renting. The house is designed of cut bricks with a ceramic ceiling construction. The perimeter wall is thermally insulated with a contact insulating system and partly covered with a stony facing. There is a saddle-shaped roof on the house. The building site is sloping north-east. All constructions are in accordance with the valid regulations and ČSN standards.
Static solution of monolithic reinforced concrete structure

The diploma thesis describes structural design of selected elements of monolitic reinforced concrete seven-storey building. Structure is designed as a combined reinforced concrete frame with shear walls and core. The main point of structural analysis is design of locally supported RC slab above the 2ND basement floor, column on the 2ND basement floor, piles and analysis of foundation of building and its influence of support stiffness on connected load-bearing structures.

Idea of this diploma thesis is comparison of different diameters of piles which are used for bridge foundation. Diameters of piles are 1200 and 1500 mm in this case. Diploma thesis is about technical implementation, financial comparison. In outset you can read about possibilities of bridge foundation on water surface. In the end of this thesis there is described technological process of foundation for bridge across the dam Hričov.
Memory monument from prefabricated elements

The bachelor‘s thesis is concerned with a design of a monument which is made of reinforced concrete. The monument is composed of eleven prefabricated segments located from each other in regular distances. The segments have got the same external dimension but they differ in the dimension of internal openings which create a dynamic interior for a person standing inside of the structure. The segments are fixed to the prefabricated comb-shaped foundation. The aim of this thesis is to design each segment and the foundation of the construction. It also includes the technical drawings of reinforcement of the selected segments, the foundation, drawing of the concrete connection of the foundations and drawing of the shape of the segments.

The project addresses the low energy new build detached house, which will be permanently used for housing. The building is designed as a two-storey house, which is intended to be permanent residents of 4-5 persons. Roofed building with a flat roof is solved by using a bottom discharge reinforced concrete slabs. Load-bearing walls are from Sendvix manufacturer KM - BETA. The ceilings are designed as monolithic. The building is located in the gap between the existing building houses. The house has a garage for one car.
