Analysis of foreign trade of Czech Republic after joining the EU

The main aim of this bachelor thesis is to describe the development of foreign trade of the Czech Republic after the entry to the European Union - 2004-2011. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The first chapter describes foreign trade and its function generally. The second chapter is focused on the former development of the Czech economy, because of better understanding of the changes that occurred in the Czech Republic's foreign trade relations. The third chapter describes the common trade policy in order to define the impact of its acceptance on the foreign trade of the Czech Republic. The last chapter contains analysis of foreign trade of the Czech Republic from commodity and territorial point of view .
Analysis of foreign economical relations between Czech Republic and Hungary

The first chapter explains the basic geopolitical factors of the Czech Republic and Hungary. The economic progress of both countries during the socialism period will be discussed in the second chapter. The transformation of Hungary and the Czech Republic from the centreally planned economy to the trade economy will be the focus of the third and fourth chapter. After joining the European Union in 2004, both countries have experienced many changes in the bilateral trade in regards to each other, which will be the topic for the following chapters. Both the Pre-EU- as well as the Post-EU periods will be examined in these passages, followed by an analysis of the Mutual Trade Services since 2004. The last element of this project will describe the most significant projects and investments between Czech Republic and Hungary and the organisations supporting the mutual development of business and cultural relations.
Analysis of development of the Czech foreign trade after entry to the European Union

The main objective of this bachelor thesis is to analyse foreign trade of the Czech Republic after entry to the European Union. An important part also focuses on the former development of the Czech economy, because of better understanding of the changes that occurred in the Czech Republic's foreign trade relations and expressed in both territorial and commodity structure. Therefore another objective is to analyse these changes and explore their possible causes. For a complete evaluation of foreign trade some attention is given to the specifics of the Czech economy, especially to the competitiveness and openness.
