Utilization of Liquid in Forming Processes
Horňák, Matúš ; Podaný, Kamil (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
This diploma paper submits a literature retrieval of forming processes, which use liquid as a main or additional forming medium. These methods are used in practise in mass-produced complex components, mainly in automobile and aeronautic industry. They are perspective due to their variability, geometric accuracy and the ability to form components which cannot be made using conventional methods. The thesis introduces principles, submits specimen of units prepared by methods, such as hydro-mechanical pulling, Flexform or processual hydroforming, and evaluates their advantages and disadvantages.
Sheet metal forming using liquid
Fries, Petr ; Císařová, Michaela (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
This work is focused on unconventional technology using liquid as forming medium. The thesis presents the principle of forming methods hydroforming and its variations, wheelon, Flexform, hydromechanical drawing and explosive forming with examples of parts produced individual methods. A comparison of their advantages and disadvantages with conventional production methods.
Use of liquid in a sheet metal forming
Rejnuš, Vojtěch ; Řiháček, Jan (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
The liquid is used as the main or supporting forming medium. It is also used in series production of komplex and precision parts. It ranks among the more progressive methods and can be used among other aplications used for hydromechanical drawing, Pillow forming, Hydroform, Wheelon, ASEA, Flexform, new method Triform, explosion and electrohydraulic forming. Principles are presented for selected methods, as well as advantages, disadvantages and examples of practical applications.
The use of fluid medium in forming technologies
Březina, Vít ; Peterková, Eva (referee) ; Podaný, Kamil (advisor)
This publication includes a research of currently used technologies with liquid as a forming or supporting medium. There is a description of methods of Hydroform, ASEA, Wheelon, Flexform, hydro-mechanical forming, Pillow hydroforming and groups of high-pressure, low pressure and pressure sequence hydroforming. The publication also includes analysis of the media used for lubrication of contact surfaces during the process of forming and operating fluids. The publication shows examples of companies which are using this technologies and samples of their products.
