Attitudes toward retirement system of the Czech Republic – November/December 2021

In November and December, the Public Opinion Research Centre asked a set of questions related to attitudes of the Czech citizens towards the retirement system in the Czech Republic. Questions focused mainly on the current condition of the retirement system and its possible changes. Respondents also expressed level of their support for concrete measures and actions within the retirement system. The last question focused on the opinion whether the received finances from the social security system can cover funding of the pensions.

Questions were focused not only on subjective concerns over lack of economic resources or trust in welfare state but also on actual preparations, namely investments and savings.

Title Financial Security ANNOTATION The diploma work presented deals with financial security, i.e. with one of the methods of securing an obligation, as set out under the provision of Section 323a et seq. of Act No. 513/1991 Coll., The Commercial Code, as amended. In the work as a whole, I deal in detail, on the one hand, with description of the above- mentioned legal institution, financial security, in the form ascribed to it presently by the valid and effective legal regulations in the Czech Republic. Thus, I deal with the concept of financial security in our system of law, origin of the legal institution and its inclusion in the system of law of the Czech Republic, while defining the fundamental notions being necessary to study this part of the commercial law of the Czech Republic. Further, I address explanatory and interpretation problems of financial security, both in the light of the European Union's legal regulations, which are, if simplifying, a template for our legal regulations concerning financial security, and from the point of view of our reputable law specialists, who dealt with financial security in specialised publications, in particular in their commentaries on the Commercial Code, and in articles published in professional periodicals. Citizens on the Pension System - December 2019

In its December survey the Center for Public Opinion Research focused on some issues related to the pension system and pension reform. Within this thematic block respondents were presented three pairs of opposing statements expressing general attitudes to the different characteristics of the pension system. Respondents expressed their position through a five-point scale, where point 1 meant identification with the first of a pair of opposing statements and point 5, on the contrary, featured complete shift to the second statement. Individual claims were related to contradiction between principle of solidarity and merit in the pension system, whether financial security of retired people should be ensured by state or by the citizens themselves and whether the pension system in its current form is just or unjust.

Financial security of emergency measures of municipalities with extended powers in the Vysocina region

This thesis deals with financial security of crisis measures of municipalities with extended power in Vysocina Region, focusing mainly on the analysis of financial resources and the mutual comparison of funds that individual municipalities allocate in group 5 State security and legal protection. All municipalities are legally obliged to earmark certain resources and they do so, however each municipality allocates different amount of financial resources that are an integral part of preparation and implementation of rescue and disposal work for emergencies and to provide preventive measures against these situations. Given issues has been solved primarily by the comparison method and thereafter by analogy method to do the mutual comparison of individual municipal budget analyzes from 2015, 2016 and 2017. Each municipality has been compared with each other as well as within individual municipalities in recent years. In addition, the analysis method and the method of synthesis have been used to evaluate given problem. The research revealed that more than 50 % of given municipalities with extended power in Vysocina Region increase their budget within group 5 - State security and legal protection every year. These municipalities with extended power include Bystřice nad Pernštejnem and Chotěboř. Despite the fact these municipalities allocated lower amount than in 2015 they still earmark one of the highest percentage of their funds in 2015.
Keeping care for the disabled people

The thesis deals with selected elements related to the care for people with disabilities, focusing on the factors which impede or complicate the treatment. Based on specialized literature, the thesis draws near the life of the caregivers as they cope with disabilities of their loved ones and adapt to new situations in life, change their way of life, be it in terms of housing, family relationships, relationships, employment or financial situation changes.

Petra Koubová Abstract The rigorosum thesis seeks to carry out a comprehensive analysis of the different kinds of "obstacles to work on the employee's part". This subject is treated as generally associated with labor relations as well as with the obstacles at large and their systematic classification. Chosen out of a broad spectrum of individual types, the obstacles thus analyzed were primarily those with particular personal and/or family relevance for employees, especially the temporary incapacity for work; the maternity leave; and the parental leave. These topics were addressed not only in their matter and purpose but also as regards their impact on financial security and other circumstances. Covering also other obstacles to work, the analysis attempted to expound the merits and purposes of the relevant provisions, always in consideration of (1) the specific Labor Code context, (2) the generally applicable legal principles, and (3) other acts of legislation and judicial decisions. The thesis is about the Application of multicriteria evaluation of variety of criteria relevant to decision making in property financing. Firstly, it consists of detailed description of basic vocabulary in mortgaging and important indicators such as interest rates or annual percentage rate and further the reader is introduced to the methods of multicriteria evaluation of variants. The aim of the practical part is to analyse the current market of mortgage offers and select the relevant method to choose the optimal option of mortgage for a client, who is at the process of decision making. The weight of criteria has been determined by the score method and to determine the rank of criteria a TOPSIS method was used. The conclusion contains a description of the advantages and disadvantages of the particular product. The work could bring benefits in market orientation among the variety of mortgage products and it can also help in decision making process of financing a property.
