Assessing the Financial Indicators of the Company Livi Dubňany Using Time Series

This bachelor’s thesis will deal with selected economic indicators LIVI company, spol. s.r.o. and subsequent application of statistical methods to these indicators in order to predict. The thesis consists of four main parts. Specification of the thesis, namely the development and evaluation of proposals, the creation of the calculation of economic indicators. Theoretical basis, especially financial data, regression analysis and time series analysis. Enterprise characteristics and by calculation of financial indicators of borrowed financial statements. Application of theoretical knowledge for its own calculations and draft recommendations. The output of this bachelor’s thesis will serve as a possible starting point in choosing strategic plans and compiling business objectives.

Bachelor´s thesis is focused on the analysis of the company Dum kultury Hodonin, prispevkova organizace. For Analysis is use selected financial indicators and consequent application of statistical methods. Financial situation of the company is describe with regression analysis and with the help of time series. The work is divide in to the three parts. First part is theoretic which will tell you about economics and statistics terms. Second part is practice, there is some mathematics result and some words about what is Dum kultury Hodonin and how it is doing. Last part is about results of analysis and possible determination of objectives and strategies of the company.

The bachelor´s thesis presents the financial analysis of the Scheidt & Bachmann, GmbH, Mönchengladbach. Sources for conducted analysis are accountings documents from year 2007 to year 2012. Financial situation of the company is analysed by regression analysis and time series using the means of a programme MS Office Excel 2010. The thesis explains in theoretical part the economical and statistical terms, practical part deals with calculations and with their interpretations and the results of analysis built the basis of possible proposals for improving the company economical goals.
