Constructive-technological project of a new building University of Veterinary and Pharmaceutical Sciences Brno

The subject of the thesis is the construction-technological project New flats of Study and Information Centre of Faculty of Veterinary Medicine in Brno. The building will offer a modern study environment for students. There will be a space for the central library as well as the study centre in the SIC. Also, the university archive and museum depository of the Institute of the History of Veterinary Medicine and Pharmacy will take place there. The building will be constituted of three five-floor blocks with overall groundplan size 72,40 x 30,50 m. The construction system is comprised by a ferroconcrete frame. The block C (the northern one) has one underground floor. At the level of the first uderground floor, the particular blocks are interconnected by an installation corridor. At the level of the second and third above-ground floor, the blocks are linked up with ferroconcrete connecting bridges. In the case of the fourth above-ground floor, the blocks are bridged by a dimensional steel construction which at the same time forms a roof and lifts the glassed frontage along the perimeter of the building. The fifth above-ground floor disposes of recessive steel extenstions of the engine rooms of air conditioning system.

Station building in Vsetín

The master's thesis deals with the steel structures in building industry. The aim of this paper is to propose and statically evaluate the load-bearing steel structure of railway station in Vsetín. After solving the construction load by the roof cladding and external cladding, it follows by an assessment of individual elements of construction, including an assessment of their joints. From a static perspective, the roof structure consists of two diagonal arches which are joined into each other in the top and two longitudinals frames. The entire structure is designed with an emphasis on freedom of internal layout independent of the load-bearing structure.

Realization of the Building Envelope of the Administrative Building in Česká

The content of this bachelor thesis is the solution of the technological phase of realization building envelope of the administrative building in Česká. The building envelope is partly made of the reinforced concrete and partly made of brick blocks, insulated with contact insulation system. The thesis contains a technical report, a situation with wider transport routes relationships, a budget with a bill of quantities, a technological prescription, a site equipment project, a time schedule, a machine assembly, a control and test plan and a safety and health protection during work for the phase being solved.

Construction Technology Solution of the External Cladding of Lodging House in Strážné

The concept of this work is to create a construction technology solution of an external cladding of a lodging house in Strážné. It is the external cladding of a wooden structure consisting of thermal insulation and final layer of larch planks and zinc sheet. The work consists of a technical report of the object, a design of a mechanical assembly and site facilities and a bill of quantities. This work is also addressing general relations between multiple routes to the site and it deals with an occupational safety and health. As an addition, regarding the construction solution stage of the external cladding, there are processed inspection and test plans, a budget and a time schedule present in this work.

The Impact of the Implementation of the Facade System on the Building Construction Cost

The goal of the dissertation is to compare individual structures, and to choose the facade system for whose execution the lowest costs will be required, and to compare the resulting structure with the technical and economical indicator. At the beginning of the dissertation the author focused on the explanation of terms. The following terms were gradually clarified: External cladding and its heat and technical properties, facade system, methods of valuation of tangible fixed assets and building works. Then the author divided façade systems into contact facade systems and the facade systems with an air gap, and described available materials on the Czech market.

The external cladding consists of contact thermal insulation and ventilated facade with final layer of facing bricks, natural slate and titanium zinc sheet. The thesis includes technical report, bill of quantities, technology prescription, time schedule, design of the machine assembly, site facilities, inspecting and test plan, occupational safety and health and use of local natural material during the implementation.

The subject of the thesis is the Constructive-Technological Project of building New Flats – Bystrice on Paseky. The building will be realized at the building plot of land within a developed area. The attempt is to leave the calm rural character of the surroundings undisturbed. The bulding is supposed to merge with the surroundings. Concerned are two apartment buildings with grand plans of 18 x 36 meters, disposing of three above-ground floors, no cellar, and a panel roof. In order to make the building merge with the surroundings, a wooden external cladding has been projected. Thus, the building is supposed to give the impression as if it was constructed of wood.
