Analysis of the Hotel´s Environmental Policy

This bachelor's thesis deals with the concept of sustainable development from the view of significant international organizations. In addition to this it explains the basic principles of sustainable tourism and impact of tourism development on economy, society and the environment. It describes the importance of environmental management system implementation and the benefits of eco-labeling for accommodation facilities. Finally it introduces the analysis of the hotel's environmental policy with suggestions for its improvement.

Analysis of the possibility of introducing environmental management as a systematic approach leading to the minimal effects of the activities of specific actors in the areas of accommodation services on the environment. Furthermore, the proposal to introduce environmental management into practice in a specific analysis of selected company and the potential benefits for the company.
