Line sea trade between EU and China

The work follows line sea trade between EU and China and its mutual correlation with the development of the economic cycle for the last 10 years. The goal of the work is to show, how long it takes for individual sectors of sea trade to adapt to a current situation in international trade. Observed figures are the number of container ships, the amount of transshipped containers, sea trade rates and others.

Thesis deals with the issue of trade relationship betwen the EU and China. The main aim of this thesis is to analyze trade relations of the EU and China, in order to provide a comprehensive look into the issue of trade relations of the EU and China, and to understand the nature of their trade. The analysis focuses on current developments in their trade relations, particularly in the last decade, the time period from China's entry into the WTO to the present. Secondary objectives are to identify the principles of foreign trade policies of the EU and China, analyzing the development of trade cooperation since their early beginnings, and the margin analysis of their investment cooperation. Finally, my aim is to identify the main obstacles standing in the way of their mutual trade.
