This bachelor thesis deals with creating an information system with a web interface for travel agency in Jihlava. The work begins with analyzing requirements. Next, it explores the concept of user interface and datamodel represented by an ER diagram. Finally, the thesis will discuss the implementation and testing of the system.

Ezrin-Radixin-Moesin (ERM) proteins: The link between tetraspanin web and cytoskeleton in gametes

Ezrin, which belongs to the ERM protein family along with radixin and moesin, plays an important role in linking membrane proteins to the actin cytoskeleton. In sperm, ezrin was described so far in bovine and humans, where it probably contributes in actin polymerization during capacitation. During the acrosome reaction, actin plays a significant role in relocation of protein from the inner acrosomal membrane to the equatorial segment, which is an essential process for successful fertilization. One of the proteins that relocates to the equatorial segment, the site of initiation of gamete fusion, is protein CD9. This protein probably stabilizes protein interactions between sperm and oocyte during gamete fusion. In this diploma thesis, we focused on the role of ezrin in linking the CD9 protein to the actin cytoskeleton in mouse sperm. Using indirect immunofluorescence, we detected ezrin, CD9 and actin in acrosome intact mouse sperm. The co-localization of these proteins in the apical acrosomal region suggests their interactions. However, this was not confirmed by our co-immunoprecipitation experiments. Analysis of preparedness of the Czech Republic to adopt the single European currency

The Thesis Analysis of preparedness of the Czech Republic to adopt the single European currency is focused on integration process of the Czech Republic into the Eurozone. The Thesis is divided into two main parts, the theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part is focused on the history of monetary cooperation in Europe, the European Central Bank and its instruments and also on the European currency. The practical part is dedicated to fulfilling the Maastricht convergence criteria and to procedures that are strictly related to adoption of the European currency, such as selection of scenarios and legislative preparations for euro adoption.

Standardy v oblasti Enterprise Risk Managementu

Faktory, jako například rostoucí globalizace, technologický vývoj, Internet a zvyšující se nároky vlastníků na vedení organizací v oblasti řízení rizik, vedly organizace ke změně jejich přístupu k řízení rizik. Nový přístup se označuje jako ?Enterprise Risk Management? (ERM). Podstatou ERM je efektivně řídit všechna rizika, kterým organizace čelí, a to na všech úrovních organizace jednotným a integrovaným způsobem. Práce charakterizuje ERM včetně důvodů vzniku, vývoje, definice obecného ERM procesu, současné situace a trendů. Podrobně jsou popsány vybrané čtyři nejvýznamnější standardy a rámcové publikace v oblasti ERM včetně jejich srovnání.

Risk Management Integration and Corporate Governance

Diplomová práce zkoumá nejdřív funkci a posléze proces řízení rizik v rámci banky z hlediska zejména neoinstitucionální a behaviorální finanční teorie. Nejdřív je analyzována náplň funkce řízení rizik v kontextu maximalizace hodnoty banky. Je dokázáno, že specifický kontext bankovnictví vyžaduje zohledňování celkového rizika aktivit místo pouhé korelace se systematickým rizikem. Rovněž je třeba zohledňovat preference všech stakeholdrů banky a nejenom jejích vlastníků. Z tohoto důvodu se práce dále zaměřuje na trend směřující k integrovanému řízení rizik, který odpovídá na tyto potřeby. Analyzovány jsou zejména koncepty ekonomického kapitálu a podnikového řízení rizik (ERM). V další části práce je zkoumáno smysluplné začlenění procesu řízení rizik v rámci organizační struktury banky v kontextu konfliktních cílů maximalizace zisku a minimalizace rizika. Nesprávné propojení s ostatními bankovními procesy představuje jeden z hlavním problémů efektivního fungování řízení rizik obecně, jako i překážku při implementaci konceptu integrovaného řízení rizik v bankovní praxi. Je ukázáno, že funkce řízení musí mít na jedné straně dosah na strategické řízení banky, na druhé straně musí být transcendentní přes celou strukturu banky. Tyto shledání jsou konfrontovány s bankovní praxí v rámci případové studie.
