This thesis deals with design of multifamily housing. The building has two aboveground floors, a basement and a nonresidential attic. The gabled roof has an inclination of 36%, roofing of ceramic tiles TONDACH. The object consists of two separated flat units, the common basement and the attic floor. The basement will be used as a store room serving both families, further there will be a utility room, the lighting systém and the air intake is solved by window wells. Each flat has its own entrance and sanitary facilities. The entrance to the first flat is from the east side, from the street. The flat is on the first floor, contains a vestibule, wherefrom is an entrance to the toilet, the bathroom and the hall. From the hall there is an entrance to the common basement, further to the kitchen, the living room and the bedroom. The living room and the bedroom have windows oriented to the east. The kitchen with the dining room has windows oriented to the west with a view into the garden. A small pantry belongs to the kitchen. Doors from the kitchen lead to the porch and the garden. An entrance of the second apartment is situated to the other side of the house, from the garden. The flat is maisonette. On the first floor is located a vestibule, wherefrom doors lead to the changing room, the toilet, the common basement and the kitchen with the dining room. Windows in the kitchen and the dining room are oriented to the west with a view into the garden and to the east. Further there are stairs lead to the second floor. On the second floor there are situated the living room with the conservatory, three bedrooms, the bathroom with a toilet and the separate bathroom belonging to one of the bedrooms and the corridor with tilting stairs leading on the attic floor. Windows of the living room are oriented to the west with a view into the garden, windows in bedrooms are oriented to the east. Doors lead from the conservatory to the balcony.
