Honeypot for operational technology
Tydlačková, Julie ; Holasová, Eva (referee) ; Blažek, Petr (advisor)
This bachelor thesis discusses the challenges associated with the deploying a honeypot for operational technologies protocols. Specifically, it examines the current situation regarding the OPC UA protocol. Despite its proliferation, reliable implementations for the OPC UA honeypots still do not exist. To address this gap, a simple honeypot design was created and implemented. It was built on the honeynet project. The knowledge necessary for this implementation was gained from the analysis of existing honeypots and theoretical insights.
Dobot and PLC
Frýdl, Lukáš ; Foukal, Roman (referee) ; Štohl, Radek (advisor)
The master thesis focuses on the description of stationary robots, selection, implementation, and verification of the communication interface between the Dobot robotic arm and the Micro800 series PLC. The RS-232 serial communication interface was selected for the communication between the Dobot and the PLC, that operates at different baud rates. The Arduino Mega was used to create bridge that converts transfer rates. It also converts the received ASCII characters to hexadecimal representation and combines them into the required format. Verification of the communication interface was carried out by bidirectional communication between the Dobot and the PLC. Based on implemented commands two laboratory tasks for educational purposes were created.
Experimental application of robotic arm using industrial communication protocols
Kohoutek, Tomáš ; Pospíšil, Ondřej (referee) ; Fujdiak, Radek (advisor)
This diploma thesis is focused on the analysis of the most well-known industrial protocols and acquaintance with the Dobot Magician robotic arm. The main goal of this thesis is to create an industrial loop, which consists of communication – client and server. The individual components of the industrial loop consist of three robotic arms (including peripherals), their control units (in our case Raspberry PI 3B +), switch, and a server. The control units communicate with the server using two selected industrial protocols, namely Modbus TCP and EtherNET/IP. The result of the work is an endless loop, which tries to resemble the real operation of the assembly and disassembly of the box equipped with dierent items.
