Measurement of vertical displacements and deformation of the bridge over the river Poprad
Horochonič, Maroš ; Hořejš, Marek (referee) ; Bureš, Jiří (advisor)
The content of this master´s thesis is a geodetic survey of vertical displacements and transformation of the supporting structure of the road bridge over the river Poprad in the 4th period with subsequent processing of measured data, calculation and evaluation of displacements with respect to previous stages. The work also includes the control of devices and aids used in the survey of the bridge construction and the behavior of the device's intentions during tempering. The result of this work are the values of the detected displacements and their graphical interpretation.
Cost management of machinery in construction company
Jančová, Edita ; Biolek, Vojtěch (referee) ; Hanák, Tomáš (advisor)
The main theme of this bachelor thesis is the management of the cost of production machines in the construction company. In the theoretical part, the types of costs, costing and depreciation are defined in the first place, then the theoretical level is solved in machines in the building industry. In the practical part, the operating costs of two real machines are calculated, which affect the machine-hour rate. The calculated machine-hour rate is then compared to the real rate of both machines and improvements are suggested.
Calculation of natural frequencies of a bar system using finite element method
Svoboda, Petr ; Kubík, Petr (referee) ; Návrat, Tomáš (advisor)
The task of the presented bachelor thesis has been to program an algorithm of the finite element method to calculate natural frequencies of beam systems. To solve this problem a freely available SW products (Python, libraries NumPy, SciPy, Fortran compiler etc.) should have been primarily used and thereby to check possibilities of freely available SW product application in science purposes in the field of the Continuum Mechanics tasks. For a functionality verification of the program the ANSYS code is to be used.
Testing of automatic measurement system
Hromková, Zuzana ; Vondrák, Jiří (referee) ; Machotka, Radovan (advisor)
The thesis deals with testing of the automatic measurement system, namely of the system for monitoring civil engineering structures Trimble 4D Control. A summary of the basic principles of deformation monitor is given at the beginning of the study and is followed by an overview of the system´s structure. The activities carried out under the pilot project (beginning with the installation of the system and finishing by the evaluation of the measured data) are described. The project demonstrated by the functionality, reliability and usability of the systam for monitoring of the structures.

Image Stability Testing for Displacement Measurements Using Time Base Photogrammetry
Hideghéty, Andrej
Photogrammetric methods are increasingly being used to measure displacements and deformations. One of the photogrammetric methods is the time base, which is mainly used to measure changes in the image plane. One of the most important conditions for achieving high accuracy with this method is to ensure the stability of the camera external orientation parameters (EOP). In this work primarily tilts of the camera using the Leica Nivel inclinometer, their impact and the possibilities of analytical correction are investigated. In this context, an experiment was performed by capturing the test and calibration point field with a Sony Alpha A7R III camera, while the inclinometer was also attached to the camera base. Photomodeler photogrammetric software was used to process the measurements.

Experiment E7/0,3-displacement processes in non cohesive sand mass during active translative motion of retaining wall
Koudelka, Petr
The first part of information on the new experiment denominated as E7/0,3 with active pressure of non-cohesive quartz sand on time behaviour of the mass was presented at the last Conference (P. Koudelka, 2015). The second part is object of this Paper. The experiment was performed at the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics in 2014. The moved rigid front wall of the experimental equipment was translatively moved towards active direction (out of the mass) at a position of supposed acting of active pressure value, then the wall motion was stopped and time pressure stability was monitored. After more than three months the wall was moved at the last position of 100 mm from original position before the experiment. The experiment ran four and a half months. The paper presents firstly results on the deforming mass through the course of the wall movement at a supposed position for active pressure mobilization of 1.357 mm and after the further movement. The experiment was repeated to be the results proved (Experiment E8/0,3). New results are analysed.
