Ultrasound Analyzer
Mička, Marek ; Hanák, Pavel (referee) ; Kubánek, David (advisor)
This thesis is about designing a device which is capable of recording ultrasound and changing its frequency to be listenable by human ear. The created device is simple, portable and capable of recording ultrasound up to 80 kHz. The first important part of this thesis is choosing a proper microphone. It’s followed by the processing of the signal. Such processing involves amplifying and filtering. The last part is heterodyning. It allows us to decrease the frequency of recorded signal to make it listenable, which is the purpose of the device designed in this thesis. I will build this device in following bachelor thesis and test its functionality. We can buy devices with similar functionality, but most of are based on different principle. The biggest advantage of this principle is its simplicity.
