Monitoring equipment of degradation processes for material of animal origin
Chmelař, Vít ; Skácel, Josef (referee) ; Adámek, Martin (advisor)
The diploma thesis introduces the reader to the problems of chemical sensors and the basics of degradation processes in materials of animal origin. It describes some types of sensors and their principles. Atmel ATmega328 microprocessor, its parameters and programming are described. In the next part of the thesis there is a proposal and production of equipment for monitoring of degradation processes in materials of animal origin. Sample sof chicken and milk were mesuared. From these measurements, the gas concentration values were determined, where samples can be considered suitable for consumation.
Test of exposiv partitions in anestetic praxis.
Klimešová, Marie ; Dvořák, Miroslav (referee) ; Jehlička, Karel (advisor)
On anesteziologic workplace are workers meet with various substances and materials every day. Are they put at risk of outbreak of fire or explosion? I´m going to put mind to this issue in my work, which is aimed at monitoring concentrations of explosive substances used in anesthesia. A related study of gases and vapors of volatile liquids concentration, explosiveness, flammability and other properties. I'm interesting in security and the timely identification of gases and vapors of volatile substances of the leak of anesthetic workplace, then studying the detection system and the detectors themselves. I meet with gas analyzers of company Brűel & Kjaer.
Gas sensors, their construction and testing
Pytlíček, Zdeněk ; Boušek, Jaroslav (referee) ; Prášek, Jan (advisor)
This work deals with branch of gas sensors, their construction and methodology of testing. The general aim is a design and implementation of a station for simple testing of conduction gas sensors. The whole station is conceived as virtual measuring apparatus, operated by PC in LabView environment. The station enables mixing of any two gases at concentration demanded and measuring of the basic conduction characteristics of the thick-film and thin-film gas sensors. The central communication interface and modular conception enable easy expansion of possibilities of the whole apparatus in the future. It is possible to measure up to eight gas sensors split into two TO-12 packages simultaneously.
Graphene as the active layer for gas detection
Zach, Pavel ; Prášek, Jan (referee) ; Gablech, Imrich (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to sum up theoretical knowledge concerning gas detection by sensor with a graphene active layer. It is focused on principles and construction of selected sensors. Furthermore, this work describes values characterizing the measurement results. Both crystallographic and electrical properties of graphene are discussed as well. This thesis explains the methods of production of graphene and its derivatives and also gives a look into selected characterization methods for the study of graphene. Furthermore, this work describes the phenomena behind the sensor's ability to detect gas. At the end of this study, the results of gas measurements (NO2, NH3, H2 etc.) by a graphene transistor are interpreted.

Development and optimisation of a metal-oxide sensor-based (MOS) electronic analyser for essential oil analysis
Maršán, Lukáš ; Papežová, Stanislava (advisor) ; Bohuslávek, Zdeněk (referee)
The aim of this thesis is to introduce the principles of detection and analysis of volatile compounds and sensors for this application. Devise and implement a functional pro-totype electrocal analyzer for evaluating the presence of selected volatile compounds and planttion of essential oils. The analyzer is equipped with a user-friendly operation, including displaying the results of measurements and data recording. The functionality of the device to verify, on a sample substances. At the conclusion of the evaluation results.
