Application of optical methods for determining the deformation of bodies
Kováříková, Sabina ; Šebek, František (referee) ; Návrat, Tomáš (advisor)
This Bachelor’s thesis is focused on application of digital image correlation method for determining the deformation of bodies. It contains theoretical knowledge about this method and realization of measurements on selected bodies. The aim of the thesis is to compare experimentally obtained results with the results, obtained in software Ansys Workbench. The Bachelor’s thesis also contains characteristics of other optical methods, used for determining the deformation of bodies and research of software, which can be used for data processing, based on DIC method.
Stanovení interlaminární lomové houževnatosti lepené spáry zatížené módem II při ohybové zkoušce
Pešková, Alena
This thesis focuses on problematics of fracture mechanics. It aimes to comprehensively explain theoretical knowledge in both Czech Republic and abroad, where a research of this field is taken more often. Based on theoretical research best way to determine fracture toughness was selected. For this purpose three sets of spruce specimens (using three different adhesives) were created and tested by 3ENF test under the mode II while being monitored by digital image correlation method. From these values strain release rate energy and fracture toughness of tested specimens were determined. The thesis compares found data and analyses their correlations.
Analýza deformace kruhového otvoru při roztlačování čelistmi nového NDT zařízení
Kundera, Hynek
The issue of the thesis fall under the department of non destructive testing of wood. The thesis description is an experiment, which includes the measurement by application of a new semi destructive device on wooden beams commonly used in historical constructions in the Czech Republic. This measurement was monitored by DIC technology at the same time. The part of the results of work is also the treatise about the influence of different factors like the wood density, moisture content and others. This final thesis also discusses about the accuracy and appropriateness the measurement by a new diagnostic device for in-situ determination of strength and modulus of deformability in compression of wood parallel to fibers.
Specifics of care for women with postpartum in intensive care
Kučerová, Klára ; Kulhavá, Miluše (advisor) ; Hošťálková, Monika (referee)
The thesis is focused on the specifics of care for women with postpartum bleeding in intensive care. Part of this work are two segments, theoretical and empirical. The first segment focuses on the theoretical part, which lists the existing knowledge from literature approaching the issue of bleeding complications accompanying childbirth, especially postpartum period, when the lack of timely solution can endanger the woman's life. This section defines the terms postpartum bleeding, hemorrhagic shock, DIC, intensive care and severe postpartum bleeding complications. The work also focuses on nursing care for women with postpartum bleeding. The theoretical part is concluded postoperative nursing care. The second segment of the work is of empirical character. The main objective of this thesis was to investigate how the care provided to the ARO / ICU for women with problems postpartum bleeding. This part of the non-standardized using an anonymous questionnaire identifies issues of bleeding complications in postpartum period. The work deals with the level of care provided in intensive care for women with severe postpartum bleeding complications, knowledge of the healthcare paramedical personnel in the care of patients with postpartum bleeding and acquiring new information on nursing care in case postpartum...
Comparison of strains determined by finite element method and by optical measurement system
Zajíček, Vít ; Hlavoň, Pavel (referee) ; Vlk, Miloš (advisor)
This thesis focuses on the comparison of numerical simulation and optical measurement of deformation of the turbinehousing made by Honeywell company. The numerical calculation performed by finite element method to simulate transient thermal load on the measured entity. Numerical result of the strain state of the body caused by temperature gradients. To verify the simulation is used an experimental digital correlation method VIC-3D. The thesis also mentioned the theoretical foundations of digital correlation methods and thermal analysis.
Evaluation of load-deformation characteristics of glued timber using DIC analysis
Šot, Michal ; Vejpustek,, Zdeněk (referee) ; Vaněrek, Jan (advisor)
The work deals with issues of evaluation of the shear properties of timber structural materials, particularly CLT elements. The work contains an overview of extensive research so far presented scientific studies dealing with the characteristic shear properties of wood. In the practical part was carried out the experiment dealing with the failure mode of transverse lamellae of CLT elements that were exposed to shear stress. There were observed individual effects that this may affect the material properties. In the first part of the experiment were performed numerical models using FEM. In the second part, the test specimens were tested in three point bending. Here, attention was paid to the influence of macroscopic properties of wood on the distribution of stress cracks and shear strength, the tests were recorded using DIC system.
Stanovení Poissonových čísel dřevotřískového kompozitu OSB pomocí optických metod na bázi korelace digitálního obrazu
Skácel, Pavel
This thesis is focused on measuring Poisson numbers of oriented strand boards (OSB) by using non-contact optical method of digital image correlation (DIC). Board samples were pressed by flexural load in two directions on a level with the board and in two directions vertical to the level of the board. In addition, measured values of Poisson numbers were statistically evaluated.
Numerická a experimentální analýza vybraného celodřevěného tesařského spoje
Zámečník, Petr
The major task of this topic is evaluation of the birdsmouth carpentry joint by various approaches employing finite element method and DIC. The numerical modeling is carried out to predict mechanical performance of the joint and the DIC as reference measurement has been established. There are proposed few achievements in introducing of effective way to give sufficient comparison. (1) The model in several variations is presented whereas gluing and contact analysis in ANSYS is in research scope. (2) The DIC was viably established with the real mechanical measurement in the same time. Although there were found some differences in comparison o FEM with DIC, the results present similarities especially when the contact analysis was carried out.
Experimental measurement of full-field strains in the vicinity of U-notch in ductile material
Jandejsek, Ivan ; Jiroušek, Ondřej ; Vavřík, Daniel
The paper deals with the measurement of full-field displacements and strains evolution in the vicinity of the U-notch in the flat high-ductile aluminum specimen during its loading. The full-field displacements are measured using Digital Image Correlation method in a set of vertices of a triangular mesh reflecting the presence of the stress concentrator. From the known displacements strain distribution is computed. The resulting strain field is compared with simultaneous strain gauge measurement. These strain gauges are located just in a few well-defined positions and serve for correction of a systematical error caused by rigid-body motion of the specimen during loading. The experimental results are used as referential for Finite Element simulation using the same triangular mesh.
