Povědomí o biodynamickém způsobu hospodaření a míra jeho uplatnění v ČR
Dyntarová, Kristýna
This diploma thesis deals with biodynamic agriculture in the Czech Republic. The theoretical part concerns the definition of organic and biodynamic farming, including the identification of their mutual differences, and also describes the development of biodynamics in the global and domestic context, including the analysis of the current state. The experimental part is made up of several outputs. The first is the characteristic of a selected biodynamic farm which includes a mapping of opinions about the farm activities among the locals. The second is the analysis of information from biodynamic farmers or otherwise interested parties about their experience and opinions on the given issue. The final output is the evaluation of the information obtained through the survey detecting the awareness about biodynamic farming among selected target groups.
Biodynamika ve vinařství
Vyoral, Albert
This theoretical thesis deals with the biodynamics in viticulture. Literary section begins with an introduction to biodynamics, its expansion and growing of its popularity. Subsequently are described the organizations, that provide a biodynamic certification. The fifth chapter deals with general principles of winemaking in the context of biodynamics. Then it deals with the impact of astronomical phenomena in relation to the grape harvest, but also to other processes during vinification. It also explains the impact of grapes quality on wine. The seventh part is focused on general rules of working in the basement and the importance of the cellar construction itself. The following part deals with the winemaking. The structure of this theme depends on production methods that help reduce the content of SO2 and overall contribution to reduce the interventions during production, which is an important part of the biodynamic principles. The work deals with possible defects of wine, which are related to wine production with minimizing doses of SO2 and generally small interventions during production and aging of wine. It also includes recommendations to prevent them. The next chapter describes the prefermentation processes and alcoholic fermentation in accordance with biodynamic principles. The last chapter shows the options of clarification and stabilization of wine.
Selected Wave Phenomena in the Earth's Magnetosphere
Bezděková, Barbora ; Němec, František (advisor) ; Macúšová, Eva (referee)
Electromagnetic waves are crucial for energy transfer in the nearly collision- less plasma of the Earth's inner magnetosphere. The waves in the frequency range 1-8 kHz whose visualisation in the form of frequency-time spectrograms reveals a harmonic frequency modulation of the wave intensity are called magnetospheric line radiation (MLR). Waves characterized by a nearly periodic time modulation of the wave intensity observed at frequencies between about 0.5 and 4 kHz are called quasiperiodic (QP) emissions. Although both types of the events were re- peatedly observed by ground-based instruments and low-altitude satellites, their origin remains still unclear. Between 2004 and 2010 these wave events were me- asured by the DEMETER spacecraft (almost Sun-synchronous orbit, altitude of about 700 km). This thesis presents a systematic study of the properties of the observed events, a comparison of the observations by the spacecraft and ground- based instruments, and an investigation of a relation to solar wind parameters.
Magnetospheric line radiation observed by the DEMETER spacecraft

Frequency-time spectrograms of electromagnetic waves observed in the Earth's inner magnetosphere in the frequency range 1-8 kHz sometimes contain nearly horizontal and almost parallel intense lines. Such events were observed both by ground-based instruments and satellites, and they are called Magnetospheric Line Radiation (MLR). We systematically analyze 1230 MLR events identified in the data of the DEMETER spacecraft (2004-2010, altitude of about 700 km). We focus on a possible connection between the event occurrence and solar wind parameters. Long analyzed data interval allows us to evaluate a possible influence of the solar cycle and season of the year. We show that there is a statistically significant correlation between MLR events and solar wind parameters, and that the events are observed more often during the winter months and preferably during the solar maximum. The events occur less frequently at geomagnetic longitudes of South Atlantic Anomaly (SAA). We analyze spectra of energetic electrons precipitating in this region at the times of MLR events, which are supposed to be related to the wave generation. Powered by TCPDF (www.tcpdf.org)

David PÍŠA Study of electromagnetic emissions recorded by the DEMETER satellite Abstract : This thesis presents results based on wave measurements performed by the DEMETER space- craft. This French spacecraft was operating between 2004 and 2010 at the altitude of ∼660 km. We focus on measurements of the electromagnetic waves and plasma density in the vicinity of imminent earthquakes. In the first part, we present a study of plasma density variations in the vicinity of a very powerful earthquake in Chile (Mw 8.8) which occurred on February 27, 2010. Data recorded before the main shock along orbits close to the future epicenter showed increasing plasma den- sities. A statistical analysis using 4 years of data to monitor density variations under similar conditions has been performed. This study shows that a large increase of the plasma density is very uncommon at this location. In the second part, a statistical study (∼6.5 years) of variations of VLF wave intensity is shown. We have analyzed all available data measured close (in time and space) to large earth- quakes (M≥5). Data related to more than 12000 earthquakes have been compared with an unperturbed background distribution. We confirm the previously reported results of a statis- tically significant decrease of the wave intensity at frequencies of about...
Možný vliv zemětřesení na nízkofrekvenční elektromagnetické vlny: pozorování na družici s nízkou orbitou
Němec, František ; Santolík, Ondřej ; Parrot, M.
We present results of a statistical study of VLF (up to 10 kHz) wave intensity measured by a low-altitude spacecraft in the vicinity of earthquakes. The data from the French DEMETER spacecraft (altitude about 700 km, nearly Sun-synchronous orbit) that was specially developed for such kind of studies are used. The recently developed two-step data processing method is briefly introduced and the main obtained results are reviewed. Finally, a simple independent test of the obtained results is done in order to give an additional evidence for the existence of possible seismic-related effect. Our results indicate that there is a decrease of power spectral density of electric field fluctuations shortly (0-4 hours) before the time of the main shock. This decrease was observed close to surface earthquakes (depth less than 40 km) with magnitude larger than or equal to 4.8 and only during the night. No similar effect was observed for deep earthquakes nor during the day.
