Multichannel audio DAC for laboratory measurements
Kristek, Tomáš ; Kufa, Jan (referee) ; Kratochvíl, Tomáš (advisor)
The content of this bachelor thesis is the design and construction of a multi-channel audio D/A converter, which will be used for laboratory use. It includes a digital signal input using SPDIF communication, the D/A converter itself, control of the D/A converter chip using the SPI bus, power circuits and symmetrical output.

Pronciple of the New AdjustedArchitecture of R-2R D/A Converter
Polešáková, Zuzana
Original R-2R D/A Converter architecture has a shortcoming – while resolution is bigger than 7 bits, switching of MSBs causes a significant non-linearity error, which may even cause DAC to be non-monotonous. A possible solution to this issue is shown in this paper: dividing MSBs into subbits of a lower weight. Analog circuitry and digital driving is published in this paper.
