Child's Perspective in Poetry of Early Czech Avant-garde

This bachelor's thesis deals with the genesis and depiction of a naive children's perspective and generally with the importance of childhood in the poetry of the early Czech avant-garde, especially focusing on the work of Jiří Wolker, Zdeněk Kalista, Miloš Jirko and A. M. Píša. The first part of the thesis is focused on outlining the historical context of this issue and connecting it with the literary development of poetry in the early 1920s. For the second part of the thesis, the key is an analysis of this approach /motive in poetry and subsequent interpretation of the work of selected poets.
