Písmová rodina Pagella: rozšírenie o cyrilskú abecedu

The bachelor thesis is focused on the extension of the TeX Gyre Pagella font family by the Cyrillic alphabet. The Palatino and URW Palladio font families were a model. The font was created in FontForge. The theoretical part deals with fonts in the TeX system, the TeX Gyre project and the comparison of font families. The practical part of the work describes the process of creating the Cyrillic alphabet in four typefaces – regular, italics, bold and bold italics. At the end of the work is a presentation of created fonts.

The Transliteration Problems of Russian Cyrillic in Graphic Czech System and Vice Versa

The bachelor thesis concerns transliteration problems in graphic Czech and Russian system. Theoretical part focuses on rules, methods and recommendation for the transformation of Latin alphabet in Cyrillic and vice versa. Practical part is composed of four selective lists: list of Czech and Russian geographical names and list of eminent historical and present personages.
