Domestic violence against men

The main goal of thesis "Domestic violence against men" is to address this phenomenon and quantify its occurrence in the Czech Republic and other selected countries. The first part focuses on theoretical description of domestic violence against men and its detailed specification. Individual chapters describe the social context and known types of domestic violence such as physical, psychological, social, economic and sexual form. Predictors, specific groups of victims and consequences of domestic violence are then explained. This section also includes the possible ways of assistance. The second part is devoted to the theoretical research of this phenomenon in the Czech Republic and thus builds on the researches that were carried out a few years ago.
